SAP Analyst Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sap analyst in Georgia?
Most sap analyst roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or computer science, followed by hands-on SAP configuration experience through employer training programs or consulting engagements. Georgia has no state-issued license for this role. Earning an SAP certification, such as the SAP Certified Associate credential in a module like FICO or MM, strengthens competitiveness considerably with Georgia employers in manufacturing, logistics, and financial services.
How much do SAP analysts make in Georgia?
SAP analysts in Georgia earn a median of about $106,240 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $65,440 for the lowest 10% to over $166,580 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire sap analysts in Georgia?
Employers hiring sap analysts in Georgia right now include Rivian, Mohawk Industries, and Honeywell, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of large headquarters in the Atlanta metro, including major players in retail, aviation, and logistics, creates consistent demand for SAP talent across both direct and contract roles.
Which Georgia cities have the most sap analyst jobs?
Atlanta, Georgia, and Tucker are the Georgia cities with the most sap analyst openings. Atlanta drives the bulk of demand, given its concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and large consulting firms that serve clients across manufacturing and retail, while Savannah and Augusta generate openings tied to port logistics operations and healthcare systems anchored in those regions.
Are there remote sap analyst jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 67% of sap analyst openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how well SAP configuration and support work translates to distributed teams. Roles in functional analysis, testing, and post-go-live support are the most commonly offered as fully remote, while implementation project leads often require periodic on-site presence during key project phases.
How can I get hired as a sap analyst in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a junior functional analyst or SAP support desk role, which Georgia-based consulting firms and large employers in the Atlanta area regularly fill with candidates who hold SAP Certified Associate credentials but limited work experience. Roles such as business systems analyst or ERP data analyst at manufacturers and logistics companies in Georgia serve as common lateral entry points. Completing an SAP learning path through SAP's own training program and earning a module certification before applying gives early-career candidates a concrete, employer-recognized credential to lead with.
Where can I find and apply to sap analyst jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to sap analyst jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, and statewide remote positions. Find roles that fit your experience and module background and apply directly to each one.
