A Taste of What You'll Do
As GALLO’s market representative, you will build distributor focus, strengthen customer relationships, and turn market insights into action. You will assess performance data, develop pricing and forecasts, coordinate new product launches, and ensure the successful execution of national programs and promotions. Your ability to prioritize the greatest opportunities will help expand our brands and strengthen marketplace performance.
You will influence distributor leaders to align resources behind GALLO priorities while collaborating across Customer Development, Commerce Marketing, Distributor Operations, and other teams. You may also coach and develop field sales resources, conduct product education and tastings, support consumer engagement initiatives, and represent GALLO at community and industry events.

What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of Gallo sales, marketing, or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of alcohol beverage or CPG sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School Diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of Gallo sales, marketing, or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 10 years of alcohol beverage or CPG sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
- Required to be 21 years of age or older.
- Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality. Must maintain eligibility to hold such license while in the role.
- Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business.
- Required to see, taste, and smell alcohol beverages and perform product tastings as part of job functions.
- Experience demonstrated strong leadership selling, time management, public speaking skills.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Gallo distributor sales experience to include a prior rotation as a Portfolio Consultant, Business Development Manager, Program Manager Sales-LDP, Business Intelligence Manager or Account Manager 2; OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of external alcohol sales experience to include RTD, Beer, or Malt Beverage experience.
- Direct managerial/supervisory experience with sales, retail, or alcohol Beverage employees (e.g. District Manager, Area Manager, State Manager, Field Marketing manager, etc.)
- Experience with selling or marketing Gallo products.

The Fine Print

- We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
- This position will be based in the location(s) specified in the job posting and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.
