- At least 2 years of experience (beyond primary education requirement) developing, implementing, and maintaining applications, including the following:
- Working with users in a requirements analysis role
- Exposure to Data warehouse implementations, operation, and maintenance, including ETL
- Understanding of current data concepts such as predictive analytics and forecasting.
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (e.g., relational, dimensional)
- Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support working in project environments that include internal, external, and customer teams
- Background in either relational or non-relational databases, with basic development skills in SQL
- Willingness to develop analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
- Adapts easily to different environments such as team projects or working independently
- Must be willing and able to work in Grand Junction, Colorado with appropriate notice and coordination
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
