Make a difference by providing great care and love for our treasured residents.
At MorningStar Senior Living, we talk a lot about culture. In fact, we rather obsess about it. For without a transformative culture, we cannot begin to elevate and celebrate the lives of our resident-heroes and be ourselves changed for the good in the process. So, we seek great hearts, other people like us, who care and want to do work that matters. We select people like us who believe that the most satisfying life is one that is outward-bound and rooted in servant-leadership.

Tips for Your Business Office Manager Job Search
Tailor your resume to the setting
Healthcare business office manager roles want revenue cycle and billing compliance on your resume, while corporate settings prioritize budget oversight and vendor contracts. Match your bullet points to the specific industry in each posting, not a one-size-fits-all template.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists business office manager openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Lead with measurable operational wins
Hiring managers in this role want proof you reduced costs, cut billing errors, or improved collections turnaround. Quantify results in your work history wherever you can, because vague phrases like 'managed office operations' do not differentiate you from other applicants.
Filter by credentialing requirements first
Many healthcare and long-term care postings require a Certified Medical Manager credential or RHIT before they interview. Check the requirements section before applying so you spend your time on roles you actually qualify for right now.
Prepare for behavioral finance scenarios
Interviewers routinely ask how you handled a billing dispute, a budget shortfall, or a compliance audit. Write out two or three specific examples from your work history using the situation, action, and result format before your first interview call.
Negotiate scope before accepting an offer
Business office manager titles vary widely in authority. Before accepting, clarify whether you control hiring, set budgets directly, or report to an administrator who does. Misaligned scope is the most common reason people leave these roles within the first year.
Business Office Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most business office managers?
The companies hiring the most business office managers right now include CVS Health, Aspen Dental, and PruittHealth, with the largest share of openings in California, Texas, and New York, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Health systems, long-term care networks, and large outpatient groups consistently account for the highest volume of postings.
How many business office manager jobs are remote?
About 22% of business office manager openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, which is lower than in many other management roles because the position typically involves on-site staff oversight and physical records. Revenue cycle management and medical billing coordination sub-roles are the most likely to be offered remotely within this title.
How do you become a business office manager?
Most business office managers start in administrative coordinator or billing specialist roles, then move into a supervisory position once they demonstrate budget literacy and team leadership. A bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration strengthens your candidacy significantly. Earning a credential such as the Certified Medical Manager designation can accelerate advancement, particularly in healthcare settings.
Can you get hired as a business office manager with little experience?
Entry points exist, particularly in smaller clinics and independent practices that prefer promoting internally from billing or front-desk roles. Emphasizing any supervisory experience, even informal team lead duties, alongside software proficiency in practice management platforms makes your application competitive. Targeting offices with fewer than ten staff is a practical starting point when your management experience is limited.
What does the business office manager interview process look like?
Most hiring processes run two to three rounds. The first is typically a phone screen with HR focused on experience and availability. The second is an in-person or video interview with the administrator or department director covering operational scenarios, billing knowledge, and leadership style. Some employers add a practical exercise such as reviewing a sample budget or a mock staffing conflict.
Where can I find and apply to business office manager jobs?
You can find and apply to business office manager jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Search for roles that match your industry background and experience level, then apply directly to each listing that fits. No detours to other platforms are necessary.
