About the Role
As our Business Operations Coordinator, you'll work closely with company leadership to support a variety of business functions, from recruiting and human resources to event sponsorships, order fulfillment, and day-to-day operations.
Some days you'll be coordinating interviews or helping welcome a new employee. Other days you'll be working with event sponsors, managing administrative projects, or learning a new operational process.
You'll have core responsibilities you own, but you'll also have the opportunity to expand your skills and contribute wherever the business needs you most.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Kalamazoo, Michigan, reporting to the Vice President overseeing business operations and human resources.
What You'll Do
Keep Our Business Running Smoothly
- Coordinate order fulfillment for UKC's online store.
- Support administrative projects and day-to-day business operations.
- Help coordinate employee workspace readiness and office organization.
- Learn key operational processes, including printing and mail services, to provide backup support when needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and help implement solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and see them through to completion.
Help Support Our People
- Assist with recruiting, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Support new employee onboarding and administrative HR activities.
- Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential employee records.
- Assist with employee-related projects and initiatives.
Connect With Our Sponsors and Partners
- Build and maintain positive relationships with UKC's event sponsors.
- Coordinate prize sponsorships and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
- Research and pursue new sponsorship opportunities.
- Track agreements, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Work with internal teams to support successful events and partnerships.
