Duties
- Prepare patients for visits, collect intake details, measure vital signs, and update medical records in electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Support clinical care through phlebotomy, medication administration, and other medical assisting tasks within your training and applicable requirements.
- Assist with medical documentation, medical terminology, and International Classification of Diseases (ICD) coding workflows.
- Provide responsive patient service and support daily medical office management, including records and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with clinicians and staff across clinic following established safety and privacy procedures.
Experience
- Required: Medical Assistant certification and basic life support (BLS) knowledge or certification as required for the role; medical office experience and familiarity with EHR systems.
- Bring patient care skills, medical documentation experience, and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Preferred: Experience in pediatrics.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
