Job Description - Tax and Accounting Manager:
This position will be hybrid remote. Some time on site will be required.
The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years working in a CPA firm. Your work will consist of managing Staff Accountants as well as directly working on clients with complex tax or accounting issues. Great people skills are a must to collaborate with both colleagues and clients. In order to successfully manage the staff and workflow, ideal candidates will have proficiency with both accounting and tax compliance and consulting. Ultratax software experience is a plus. Responsibilities include:
- Review, preparation, and management of financial statements and complex tax returns, including year-end accounting adjustments (primarily Individuals, Partnerships, and S-Corporation returns).
- Perform, guide, and assist in technical tax research.
- Perform, review and manage high level tax planning and business consulting for clients using tax projection software.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication with clients and internal colleagues.
- Participate and assist in training activities.
- Prior experience supervising and reviewing the work of team staff members is a requisite.
- Provide timely performance feedback to team members, both formally and informally.
- Develop and assist in budgeting staff work and manage various tax deadlines.
- Possess in-depth and current knowledge of tax laws and regulations and demonstrate understanding of IRS Practices.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
