Client Service Associate Jobs in Tennessee: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client service associate in Tennessee?
Most Tennessee employers require at minimum a high school diploma, though an associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field strengthens your candidacy considerably. For client service associate roles inside brokerage or investment firms, you may need to obtain FINRA Series 7 or Series 63 licensing, which requires employer sponsorship and passing a proctored exam. Roles in insurance servicing often require a Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance producer license before you can handle policy transactions.
Which companies hire client service associates in Tennessee?
Employers hiring client service associates in Tennessee right now include Banfield Pet Hospital, Truist, and Gallagher, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Tennessee's concentration of insurance carriers, regional banks, and large healthcare systems means hiring stays consistent throughout the year rather than peaking seasonally.
Which Tennessee cities have the most client service associate jobs?
Nashville, Franklin, and Brentwood hold the greatest concentration of client service associate openings in Tennessee. Nashville leads because it serves as the regional headquarters for major banking, insurance, and healthcare organizations, while Memphis draws volume from logistics, financial services, and regional bank branches, and Knoxville benefits from a growing mix of credit unions, insurance offices, and university-affiliated institutions.
Are there remote client service associate jobs in Tennessee?
Yes, and they are more common for this role than in many fields, since client service associate work is largely phone- and computer-based. About 67% of client service associate openings tied to Tennessee are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the role's strong suitability for distributed work. Account servicing, inbound support queues, and back-office client correspondence are the functions most frequently offered remotely by Tennessee employers.
How can I get hired as a client service associate in Tennessee with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying for retail banking associate or insurance customer service representative roles at Tennessee-based financial institutions, which routinely hire candidates without prior industry experience and train on the job. Employers such as Regions Bank and Tennessee-based credit unions run new-hire cohort programs that bridge the gap for recent graduates. Earning a FINRA SIE exam certificate independently, or completing a community college business program at an institution like Nashville State Community College, demonstrates initiative and gives your application a tangible edge.
Where can I find and apply to client service associate jobs in Tennessee?
You can find and apply to client service associate jobs in Tennessee on Migrate Mate, which lists current Tennessee openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find the roles that match your background and preferred location, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
