Client Service Associate Jobs in Texas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a client service associate in Texas?
Most Texas employers require a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, though some will consider candidates with equivalent work experience. Many client service associate roles in financial services require or expect candidates to obtain FINRA licensing, such as the Series 7 or Series 63, after hire. Texas does not have a state-specific license for the role itself, so the path typically runs through employer-sponsored licensing programs and on-the-job training.
Which companies hire client service associates in Texas?
Employers hiring client service associates in Texas right now include Higginbotham, Amegy Bank, and Banfield Pet Hospital, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Texas's large concentration of financial services headquarters, regional banks, and insurance carriers means steady, recurring demand for client-facing roles statewide.
Which Texas cities have the most client service associate jobs?
Houston, Dallas, and Austin have the most client service associate openings in Texas. Houston and Dallas drive the bulk of demand because they host major financial services headquarters, regional bank operations, and large insurance carriers, while San Antonio's concentration of military-affiliated financial institutions like USAA adds a consistent source of client service hiring across experience levels.
Are there remote client service associate jobs in Texas?
Yes, and they're more common than in many fields. About 53% of client service associate openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of this work is phone- and platform-based. Account maintenance, inbound client support, and retirement plan servicing are the sub-areas most likely to offer remote arrangements.
How can I get hired as a client service associate in Texas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to associate or client support trainee programs at large Texas-based financial institutions such as USAA, Charles Schwab, or JPMorgan Chase, which run structured new-hire cohorts for candidates without prior industry experience. Lateral moves from bank teller, call center representative, or retail banking roles are common and widely recognized by Texas employers as relevant preparation. Completing a FINRA Series 63 exam before applying gives candidates a concrete edge over other entry-level applicants.
Where can I find and apply to client service associate jobs in Texas?
You can find and apply to client service associate jobs in Texas on Migrate Mate, which lists current Texas openings across financial services, banking, insurance, and wealth management. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level and location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
