Clinical Assistant Jobs in Washington

Inland Northwest Research (INWR) is a clinical research center specializing in Parkinson's disease and other neurological movement disorders. Working closely with Selkirk Neurology, we conduct clinical trials evaluating exciting new treatments for patients with neurological conditions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Research Assistant to support our Clinical Research Coordinators with patient visits, study documentation, data entry, and day-to-day research operations.

Prior clinical research experience is desired, but not required. We provide training and an opportunity to develop skills that can lead to advancement into Clinical Research Coordinator positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical research visits, including patient rooming, vital signs, and ECGs following appropriate training.
• Enter clinical research data accurately into electronic study systems.
• Prepare study documents, equipment, and electronic devices before patient visits.
• Track assigned tasks, follow up on outstanding items, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Assist Clinical Research Coordinators with study documentation, administrative activities, and study startup.
• Support daily clinical research operations and coordinate activities between INWR and Selkirk Neurology.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated ability to follow tasks through to completion.
• Comfortable working with computers, learning new software, and performing accurate data entry.
• Good communication skills and a professional, patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative clinical research team.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional experience will also be considered.
• Prior experience in healthcare, research, administrative support, or data management is helpful but not required.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, in-person position in Spokane, Washington, working five days per week. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be necessary to accommodate clinical study visits.

This is not a remote or hybrid position.
