Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to oversee our Level 1 Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. The Clinical Director will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves managing clinical staff, developing treatment protocols, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement to support individuals on their recovery journey.
Duties
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the Level 1 SUD program, ensuring clinical operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Lead, supervise, and support clinical staff, including counselors and treatment providers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Develop, implement, and review clinical policies and treatment protocols aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor client progress and outcomes to ensure effective treatment delivery and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and safety standards relevant to substance use disorder treatment programs.
- Collaborate with administrative teams to coordinate program activities and resource allocation.
- Stay informed about advances in SUD treatment methodologies and incorporate evidence-based practices into the program.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, clients, families, and external agencies to promote integrated care.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and audits to maintain program excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in clinical leadership within a substance use disorder treatment setting, preferably at a Level 1 program.
- Strong knowledge of SUD treatment modalities, regulations, and best practices.
- Licensed or certified as required by state or federal regulations for clinical practice in substance use disorder services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degrees or additional certifications in addiction counseling or clinical supervision are preferred.
