About Victress

Victress, A Wellness Center for Women is a growing behavioral health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized mental health services to women and girls.

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our practice as a 1099 independent contractor.

This opportunity is ideal for a psychologist who values professional independence and flexible scheduling while benefiting from an established practice infrastructure, referrals, administrative support, and opportunities to participate in additional clinical and organizational projects.

Position Overview

The psychologist will have the opportunity to develop a caseload based on their availability, experience, and areas of clinical interest.

Services may be provided in person at our Palos Heights office and/or via telehealth throughout Illinois.

In addition to traditional outpatient services, there may be opportunities for psychologists to participate in contracts and partnerships with outside organizations as Victress continues to expand its community and organizational services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Provide individual psychotherapy to adolescents and/or adults
• Conduct diagnostic assessments
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Coordinate care with other professionals when clinically appropriate
• Maintain professional, ethical, and licensing requirements
• Provide psychological testing and assessment when appropriately trained and credentialed
• Participate in contracted clinical services with outside organizations when opportunities are available and mutually agreed upon

Potential Outside Contract Opportunities

Depending on clinician qualifications, interests, availability, and individual contract requirements, psychologists may have opportunities to participate in projects with:

• Schools and educational organizations
• Healthcare organizations
• Community organizations and nonprofit agencies
• Government or public-sector programs
• Social-service organizations
• Other behavioral health and healthcare partners

Contracted services may potentially include psychological evaluations, assessments, consultations, trainings, clinical services, program support, or other behavioral health projects.

Participation in outside contracts is optional unless separately agreed upon and is dependent upon available opportunities and individual contract requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
• Active Illinois Clinical Psychologist license in good standing
• Ability to practice independently within the clinician's scope of practice
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Professional liability insurance
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, client-centered care

Experience or interest in any of the following is especially welcome:

• EMDR
• Perinatal and postpartum mental health
• Grief and loss
• Relationship concerns
• Psychological testing and assessment

Schedule

Flexible scheduling is available based on clinician availability and practice needs.

We welcome psychologists interested in a part-time or full caseload. Evening and/or weekend availability is appreciated but not necessarily required.

Compensation

1099 Independent Contractor

Competitive compensation based on services provided, experience, caseload, and type of work performed.

Outside contract work, evaluations, testing, consultation, training, or other specialized projects may have separate compensation arrangements based on the specific contract or service.

Compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
