The LodeStone Center is an outpatient group private practice that is a great option for a Clinical Psychologist with family commitments. We also provide a great environment for someone that would like to prioritize work volume but reduce administrative involvement. Our positions are hybrid and clinicians have a lot of say in how they structure their schedule. Our goal is to allow clinicians to select the right balance between income, stability and work-life balance within the framework of full time clinical practice.

The LodeStone Center is not private-equity or venture capital owned. We are 100% clinician owned and operated. Our leadership team is comprised of four directors that are Psychologists in the practice with a caseload and families of our own. You can expect that the leadership of the organization understands your day-to-day life and are here to support your position.
About the Workload:
Clinicians at The LodeStone Center are generally expected to complete 25 clinical hours per week and can choose to work more hours if they would like. It is a W2 role with all of the benefits expected with a full time (40 hour) position. The salary range posted here is based on recent clinician hourly averages applied to 25 – 30 completed clinical hours per week. Administrative responsibilities are mostly limited to writing notes and a monthly 2-hour staffing.
Our doctoral positions average $78 per hour (your take-home rate) based on recent payroll data. Compensation is based on a percentage model, so if your revenue average is higher, you benefit. If you are comparing that to independent platform rates (Headway, etc.), we encourage you to keep in mind the following benefits of this role:
- We pay employer taxes as a W2 employer (1099 taxes are higher)
- We invest in marketing and advertising. Our clinicians do not have to market themselves to build a caseload (but they can). We excel at this in an increasingly competitive market, and see this as our responsibility as the practice.
- Our administrative staff handle all credentialing, intake management and billing
- The role comes with additional compensation as:
- -- IRA contributions
- -- PTO pay
- -- Health insurance and ancillary insurance contributions
- Your overhead, legal and operational costs are covered.
- Having a physical office is an advantage in the current market, even as a hybrid clinician.
Full Time Compensation Range (25 hours per week to 30 hours per week) $90,000 - $125,000 annual take-home, after establishing your caseload.
As a benefits eligible position, this may not be combined with other outpatient private practice work elsewhere. Some exceptions in unrelated settings are allowed (teaching, etc.)
