Position Overview
We are seeking a Maryland-licensed psychologist with strong psychological assessment skills to join our established evaluation team.
This opportunity is ideal for psychologists who enjoy comprehensive psychological testing and want the independence and flexibility of private practice while benefiting from the resources, referrals, and collegial support of an established group.
Experience conducting psychological evaluations with children and adolescents is a priority, particularly in the areas of ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities. Opportunities to conduct adult evaluations are also available.
We welcome both experienced and newly licensed psychologists with strong assessment training. Extensive post-licensure experience is not required.
The position focuses primarily on psychological evaluations. Clinicians who wish to maintain an individual psychotherapy caseload are welcome to do so, although psychotherapy is entirely optional.

Our dedicated psychological assessment office in Gaithersburg, Maryland, provides access to an extensive library of standardized testing instruments, including:
- WISC-V, WAIS-IV/V, WIAT-4, and DAS-II
- NEPSY-II, D-KEFS, and IVA-2 CPT
- BASC-3, BRIEF-2, and ABAS-3
- SRS-2, CARS-2, and MIGDAS-2
- Numerous additional cognitive, academic, behavioral, personality, and diagnostic measures

Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Complete clinical interviews and select clinically appropriate assessment batteries.
- Independently administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological measures.
- Evaluate ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral concerns, and complex diagnostic presentations.
- Integrate clinical interviews, behavioral observations, collateral information, and assessment findings into comprehensive psychological reports.
- Provide diagnostic impressions, individualized recommendations, and feedback to patients and families.
- Complete psychological evaluation reports within approximately 30 days of the final assessment appointment, allowing for clinically appropriate exceptions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other clinicians and referral sources when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
- Active, unrestricted Maryland psychologist license.
- Strong training and demonstrated competency in comprehensive psychological assessment.
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations with children and adolescents.
- Proficiency in standardized test administration, scoring, interpretation, and psychological report writing.
- Strong diagnostic formulation, clinical judgment, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage the comprehensive psychological assessment process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disability evaluations.
- Familiarity with commonly used cognitive, academic, behavioral, and developmental assessment instruments.
- Experience evaluating adults in addition to children and adolescents.
- Experience working in an outpatient psychological assessment setting.
Newly licensed psychologists with strong assessment training are encouraged to apply. Extensive post-licensure experience is not required.

Primary Location: 800 South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland
Psychological evaluations are conducted primarily in person at our dedicated Gaithersburg assessment office.
Clinicians maintain flexibility in establishing their preferred schedules and coordinate testing appointments through a shared office calendar. Appropriate portions of the evaluation process may be completed remotely.
