Frame your portfolio around cross-functional delivery
Adobe evaluates Project Development Manager candidates on demonstrated ability to align engineering, design, and product teams toward shared milestones. Document specific initiatives where you coordinated across disciplines, with measurable outcomes, before you apply.
Target Adobe's enterprise and cloud divisions
Project Development Manager openings cluster around Adobe Experience Cloud and Creative Cloud infrastructure teams. Filtering your search to these business units puts you in front of hiring managers who routinely work with immigration-sponsored talent and understand the filing timeline.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active openings faster
Adobe posts Project Development Manager roles across multiple portals, and listings close quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Adobe roles that include visa sponsorship, so you're applying to verified opportunities rather than screening each posting manually.
Confirm LCA filing timing with your recruiter early
The Labor Condition Application must be certified by DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your H-1B petition. Ask your Adobe recruiter during the offer stage when they plan to initiate the LCA, so your start date aligns with the processing window.
Align your degree field to the specialty occupation standard
USCIS requires a direct relationship between your degree field and the Project Development Manager role. A background in computer science, information systems, or engineering management strengthens the specialty occupation case Adobe's legal team will need to build for your petition.
Request an H-1B transfer if you're already sponsored
If you're currently on an H-1B with another employer, Adobe can file an H-1B transfer petition and you can begin work upon receipt. You don't need to wait for approval, which removes the gap risk that deters many candidates from making a move mid-status.

Find Project Development Manager at Adobe JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Adobe sponsor H-1B visas for Project Development Managers?
Yes, Adobe sponsors H-1B visas for Project Development Manager roles. Adobe is a cap-exempt employer if you've already been counted against the H-1B cap in a prior fiscal year, meaning transfers can be filed at any time. For new cap-subject petitions, Adobe participates in the USCIS annual lottery each March for an October 1 start date.
Which visa types does Adobe commonly use for Project Development Manager roles?
Adobe sponsors H-1B, E-3, TN, and F-1 OPT or CPT work authorization for Project Development Manager positions, along with immigrant visa pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term sponsorship. E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and offers a faster, lottery-free path. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA occupation categories.
What qualifications does Adobe expect for a Project Development Manager?
Adobe typically looks for a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, combined with experience managing software development or platform delivery projects. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, cross-functional team leadership, and product lifecycle management are consistently emphasized in Adobe's job descriptions for this function across its cloud and enterprise product lines.
How do I apply for Project Development Manager jobs at Adobe?
You can browse and apply for Project Development Manager roles at Adobe through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions that include visa sponsorship so you're not wasting time on listings that exclude international candidates. Applications typically move through an initial recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation, and a structured panel interview covering project case studies and stakeholder management scenarios.
How do I plan my timeline if Adobe extends a Project Development Manager offer?
Once you receive an offer, Adobe's immigration team typically initiates the LCA with DOL before filing with USCIS. DOL certification takes around seven business days under standard processing. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your petition must be filed in April for an October 1 start, so align your offer acceptance and notice period around that window to avoid authorization gaps.
