Align your credentials to enterprise networking sales
Arista recruits Business Development Managers with demonstrated experience selling cloud networking, data center, or campus solutions to enterprise accounts. Frame your resume around measurable outcomes in B2B technology sales, not general business development experience.
Target roles tied to specific verticals
Arista structures its Business Development team around verticals like financial services, healthcare, and hyperscale cloud. Applying to roles that match your industry background significantly strengthens your application and signals fit beyond surface-level qualifications.
Clarify your OPT timeline before your first interview
If you're on F-1 OPT, know your exact expiration date before outreach. Arista's hiring cycles for Business Development roles can run eight to twelve weeks, so starting the conversation with buffer time on your OPT is essential to avoid a status gap.
Ask HR specifically about LCA wage levels during offer negotiation
Arista must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL before your H-1B petition. The prevailing wage level tied to your job title and work location affects your offered salary, so confirm the wage level assigned to your role before signing your offer letter.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Business Development Manager openings at Arista span multiple locations and visa categories. Use Migrate Mate to filter roles by the specific visa type you need, so you're applying to positions where your sponsorship situation is already confirmed as viable.

Find Business Development Manager at Arista Networks JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Arista Networks sponsor H-1B visas for Business Development Managers?
Yes, Arista Networks sponsors H-1B visas for Business Development Manager roles. The company has an established process for petitioning USCIS on behalf of qualifying candidates. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, timing matters: petitions are filed in April for an October 1 start date, so your offer timeline needs to account for that window.
Which visa types does Arista Networks commonly sponsor for Business Development Manager roles?
Arista sponsors several visa categories for Business Development Managers, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students currently enrolled or recently graduated, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. Candidates already in the U.S. on a dependent visa with work authorization may also be considered. Confirm your specific visa category with Arista's HR or recruiting team early in the process.
What qualifications and experience does Arista Networks expect for Business Development Manager positions?
Arista typically looks for candidates with a background in enterprise technology sales, particularly in networking, cloud infrastructure, or data center solutions. Familiarity with Arista's product portfolio, experience managing complex sales cycles with Fortune 500 or mid-market accounts, and the ability to work cross-functionally with systems engineers are common expectations. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is generally required to support specialty occupation status for visa purposes.
How do I apply for Business Development Manager jobs at Arista Networks?
You can apply directly through Arista Networks' careers page or find open Business Development Manager roles filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate. When applying, tailor your resume to the specific vertical or geographic territory listed in the job posting. Arista's recruiting process typically involves multiple interview rounds, including a panel with sales leadership, so preparing detailed examples of enterprise deal cycles is important.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Business Development Manager at Arista Networks?
Timeline depends on your visa category. H-1B sponsorship follows USCIS's annual cap cycle, with premium processing available to reduce adjudication to roughly 15 business days once filed. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the port of entry in a single day. F-1 OPT extensions through STEM require a USCIS filing with up to 90 days processing time, so apply before your initial OPT expires to maintain continuous work authorization.
