Align Your Degree to CohnReznick's Practice Areas
CohnReznick recruits Business Analysts with degrees in accounting, finance, or business analytics. Frame your credentials around the firm's advisory and audit service lines so your application signals direct fit before any sponsorship conversation begins.
Target Offices with Active Advisory Pipelines
CohnReznick's larger markets like New York, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. run the heaviest volume of advisory and consulting engagements. Applying to offices in these cities increases your odds of landing a Business Analyst role with sponsorship capacity.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter CohnReznick Business Analyst Openings
Sponsorship-eligible roles at accounting firms aren't always flagged clearly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Business Analyst positions at CohnReznick that are open to visa sponsorship, saving time and reducing guesswork.
Understand the LCA Filing Before Your Offer Arrives
Before CohnReznick can file your H-1B or E-3 petition, the firm must obtain a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL. Knowing this step exists helps you avoid surprises if your start date is tied to LCA approval rather than just USCIS processing.
Prepare Your OPT Timeline Around CohnReznick's Recruiting Cycle
CohnReznick hires Business Analysts on both experienced and campus tracks. If you're on F-1 OPT, map your authorization expiration date against the firm's hiring cycles to confirm you have enough runway for onboarding before cap-gap or H-1B lottery timing becomes a factor.
Position CPA Progress as a Differentiator During Interviews
CohnReznick values Business Analyst candidates who are actively pursuing CPA licensure. Demonstrating progress toward the exam signals long-term commitment to the accounting profession and strengthens your case when the firm evaluates sponsorship investment for this role.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does CohnReznick sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, CohnReznick sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles. The firm has a consistent pattern of supporting international candidates in advisory and accounting functions. H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual cap and lottery, so timing your application relative to the April 1 filing window matters. Confirming sponsorship intent early in the offer process is advisable.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at CohnReznick?
You can apply directly through CohnReznick's careers portal or find sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type. Business Analyst positions at the firm are posted across campus recruiting and experienced hire channels. Tailoring your application to CohnReznick's specific service lines, such as advisory, audit, or restructuring, improves visibility with their recruiting team.
Which visa types does CohnReznick commonly use for Business Analyst roles?
CohnReznick has sponsored Business Analysts on H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and J-1 visas. H-1B is the most common pathway for long-term employment. E-3 visa applies to Australian citizens. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business categories. F-1 OPT and CPT are typically used during early-career or internship placements before transitioning to a longer-term sponsored status.
What qualifications does CohnReznick expect for a sponsored Business Analyst position?
CohnReznick typically expects a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related analytical field. For H-1B eligibility, the role must qualify as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific discipline. Candidates actively pursuing CPA licensure or holding relevant certifications tend to be more competitive. Prior internship or co-op experience in professional services strengthens applications significantly.
How do I plan my visa timeline when accepting a Business Analyst offer from CohnReznick?
The timeline depends on which visa category applies to you. H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start, so offers typically need to be in place by late February or March. E-3 and TN visas can be processed faster, often within weeks at a consulate. If you're on OPT, verify your authorization end date and confirm whether cap-gap protection applies to bridge any gap before your H-1B takes effect.
