Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Accountant Jobs at Corpay Jobs
Align your credentials to GAAP-heavy roles
Corpay's accounting functions center on U.S. GAAP compliance, reconciliation, and financial reporting within a payments and financial services environment. Tailor your resume to reflect experience with these frameworks before applying, since generic accounting backgrounds are easy to screen out.
Target roles that match your current status
If you're on F-1 OPT, prioritize open Accountant positions that can start within your remaining authorization window. Corpay sponsors across multiple visa types, so identifying which role aligns with your status before outreach saves you from pursuing positions with timing mismatches.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Corpay's open Accountant roles
Corpay posts Accountant openings across multiple locations and business units, which makes tracking active sponsorship-eligible positions difficult manually. Migrate Mate filters specifically for roles where sponsorship has been offered, so you can focus your applications strategically.
Prepare your LCA documentation early in the process
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying prevailing wage compliance before USCIS can process the petition. Having your compensation expectations and job duties clearly documented speeds up this step considerably.
Clarify TN eligibility if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Accountant is a qualifying occupation under TN status, and Corpay has sponsored TN visas for this function. TN doesn't require a lottery or lengthy USCIS adjudication, so if you're eligible, raise this with your recruiter early rather than waiting for the H-1B sponsorship conversation.
Get your offer letter reviewed before signing
Corpay's offer letters for sponsored roles should specify the intended visa category and confirm the company will cover USCIS filing fees. Before signing, verify that the position duties explicitly support a specialty occupation classification, particularly if your role sits at the intersection of accounting and financial operations.

Find Accountant at Corpay JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Corpay sponsor H-1B visas for Accountants?
Yes, Corpay sponsors H-1B visas for Accountant roles. The H-1B requires your position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning the role must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in accounting or a directly related field. Corpay's financial services environment typically supports this classification, but you'll want to confirm the specific role's duties align before accepting an offer.
How do I apply for Accountant jobs at Corpay?
You can apply directly through Corpay's careers portal or use Migrate Mate to find Accountant openings at Corpay that are open to visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your materials to reflect experience in financial services accounting, particularly reconciliation, reporting, and compliance functions relevant to a payments-focused company. Flagging your visa status clearly in early conversations with recruiters helps avoid delays later in the process.
Which visa types does Corpay commonly use for Accountant roles?
Corpay has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas for Accountant positions. F-1 OPT and CPT are typically used for candidates still completing or recently finishing a degree in accounting or finance. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens when the role qualifies under that category. H-1B is the most common path for longer-term employment authorization.
What qualifications does Corpay expect for sponsored Accountant roles?
Corpay generally looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field, along with hands-on experience in corporate accounting functions such as general ledger management, month-end close, or financial reporting. For H-1B sponsorship purposes, the degree must directly relate to the job duties, so a degree in an unrelated field paired with accounting experience alone may not be sufficient for the petition.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap and Corpay's hiring process?
The H-1B cap registration window opens in March each year, with an October 1 employment start date for cap-subject petitions. If you're targeting Corpay on H-1B, aim to secure an offer by February so there's enough time to complete the Labor Condition Application with the DOL and register before the USCIS deadline. Starting conversations with Corpay recruiters in the fourth quarter of the prior year gives you the most runway.
