Frame your PMP or CCM credentials strategically
DLR Group values project delivery credentials when evaluating Program Managers. If you hold a PMP, CCM, or LEED credential, lead with it in your application materials. These signal familiarity with construction program lifecycle management and reduce employer uncertainty about hiring internationally.
Target DLR Group's integrated services studios
DLR Group organizes work around integrated studios spanning architecture, engineering, and interiors. Program Manager openings tied to these studios carry broader scope than standalone construction roles, which strengthens the specialty occupation argument USCIS evaluates for H-1B petitions.
Address your OPT timeline before the interview stage
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate exactly how many months remain before raising sponsorship. DLR Group can file an H-1B cap-subject petition in April for an October 1 start. A gap between OPT expiration and October 1 may require a cap-gap bridge, so flag this proactively.
Understand what DLR Group's LCA filing covers
Before signing an offer, confirm the Labor Condition Application wage level matches your experience tier. DOL wage levels run from Level I to Level IV, and a Level I wage for a senior Program Manager can complicate your H-1B petition if your responsibilities suggest a higher classification.
Search DLR Group Program Manager openings on Migrate Mate
DLR Group posts Program Manager roles across multiple practice areas and office locations. Use Migrate Mate to filter active openings by visa sponsorship type so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship is confirmed, not inferred from a company's general reputation.
Align your experience to DLR Group's sector specializations
DLR Group's Program Manager work concentrates in education, justice, workplace, and federal sectors. Tailoring your resume to reflect experience in one of these verticals, rather than general construction management, sharpens your case during both hiring review and any future USCIS scrutiny of role specialization.

Find Program Manager at DLR Group JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does DLR Group sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, DLR Group sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards given the degree-level requirements in architecture, engineering, or construction management. Sponsorship is not automatic with every offer, so confirm the company's willingness to file before accepting, and clarify whether they cover H-1B filing fees.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at DLR Group?
Applications go through DLR Group's careers portal, where openings are listed by studio and location. Tailor your resume to the specific sector, such as education or federal, rather than submitting a generic construction management resume. If you need visa sponsorship, address it clearly in your cover materials rather than waiting until an offer stage, as this avoids late-stage complications.
Which visa types are commonly used for Program Manager roles at DLR Group?
H-1B is the primary long-term work visa for Program Manager roles at DLR Group. Candidates already in the U.S. often start on F-1 OPT or CPT before transitioning. Canadian and Mexican nationals working in qualifying engineering or construction management roles may also be eligible for TN status, which does not require a lottery and can be obtained at a port of entry.
What qualifications does DLR Group expect for Program Manager roles?
DLR Group typically looks for a bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or a closely related discipline. Practical experience managing multi-discipline project teams on large-scale built environment programs is weighted heavily. Credentials like PMP or LEED strengthen your profile, and familiarity with one of DLR Group's core sectors, such as justice, workplace, or higher education, is frequently reflected in job descriptions.
How do I find Program Manager openings at DLR Group that confirm visa sponsorship?
Job listings don't always specify which visa types an employer will support, which makes it easy to waste applications on roles where sponsorship isn't available. Migrate Mate aggregates Program Manager openings at DLR Group and filters by confirmed visa sponsorship type, so you can focus your time on positions where H-1B, OPT, or TN sponsorship is already verified rather than guessing from the job description.
