Frame your PM experience around regulated products
FanDuel operates under state gaming licenses, so PM candidates who can speak to compliance-driven roadmaps, geolocation restrictions, or age-verification flows signal immediate fit. Tailor your resume to show you've shipped in a regulated or high-stakes consumer environment.
Research FanDuel's DOL labor condition filings
Before your interview, search the DOL OFLC disclosure data for FanDuel LCA filings under product management job titles. Knowing which states they've filed in and which specialties they've prioritized helps you align your pitch to their actual hiring footprint.
Target roles with a clear specialty occupation connection
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS requires your role to qualify as a specialty occupation. Product Manager titles at FanDuel that emphasize technical product ownership, data product development, or platform architecture create a stronger case than generalist titles. Ask the recruiter how the role is classified internally.
Clarify E-3 eligibility early if you're Australian
The E-3 visa is cap-exempt and processes much faster than H-1B, making it a practical path for Australian citizens targeting FanDuel's product org. Confirm with the recruiter that they're willing to file an LCA, since E-3 doesn't require USCIS petition processing.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Product Manager roles at FanDuel
Sponsorship-eligible PM openings at FanDuel aren't always flagged on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified visa-sponsoring employers in the gambling and betting sector and surface current FanDuel product roles that match your visa type.
Get your offer letter reviewed before the I-129 is filed
Once FanDuel extends an offer, confirm the job duties in the offer letter match what will appear on the H-1B or E-3 petition. Discrepancies between the offered role and the petitioned specialty occupation are a common source of RFEs from USCIS.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does FanDuel sponsor H-1B visas for Product Managers?
Yes, FanDuel sponsors H-1B visas for Product Manager roles. The key variable is whether the specific role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. PM positions tied to technical product development, gaming platform architecture, or data-driven product ownership generally have a stronger specialty occupation argument than broadly scoped general management titles. Discuss role classification with the recruiter before assuming sponsorship is automatic.
How do I apply for Product Manager jobs at FanDuel?
Applications go through FanDuel's careers portal. Most PM roles list requirements around experience with consumer-facing digital products, data analysis, and cross-functional team leadership. If you need visa sponsorship, flag it early in the process rather than at the offer stage. You can also browse verified sponsorship-eligible openings at FanDuel through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type so you're only applying where sponsorship is confirmed.
Which visa types does FanDuel commonly use for Product Manager hires?
FanDuel sponsors H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, and F-1 OPT extensions for Product Manager roles, as well as immigrant pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term sponsorship. Australian citizens are well-positioned with the E-3 visa, which has no annual lottery and can be processed directly at a U.S. consulate. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under TN visa, though the PM title requires a supporting specialty occupation argument under USMCA.
What qualifications does FanDuel expect from Product Manager candidates seeking sponsorship?
FanDuel's PM roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline. Beyond credentials, they look for experience with live or real-time digital products, A/B testing, and working in environments with complex regulatory or compliance requirements. Candidates with a background in fintech, gaming, or other licensed consumer platforms tend to align well with the product challenges FanDuel's team works on daily.
How do I navigate the visa timeline after receiving a Product Manager offer from FanDuel?
Timeline depends heavily on your visa type. H-1B requires registration in the March lottery, with a cap-subject start date of October 1 if selected. E-3 and TN can move faster, often within four to eight weeks of an LCA being certified by the DOL. If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your OPT end date relative to any required H-1B start date, since the 60-day grace period leaves no room for filing delays. Start conversations with FanDuel's immigration team immediately after signing.
