THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
FanDuel is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and execution of agentic AI-powered capabilities across marketing operations. In this role, you'll own the full product lifecycle of an innovative, AI-driven marketing automation system that leverages AI and API capabilities to orchestrate internal and external vendor platforms for marketing campaigns.
You will translate business objectives into compelling product strategies, lead cross-functional teams, manage complex vendor integrations, and champion the adoption of agentic AI principles to unlock new efficiency and scale in FanDuel's marketing engine. This is a high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of product strategy, marketing technology, data, platform operations, and AI innovation.
You bring both ambition and pragmatism: you think big about what agentic AI can enable for marketing at FanDuel, but you're grounded in the realities of technology, execution, vendor relationships, and organizational change.
In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Roadmap & Strategy: Define and execute the product roadmap for agentic campaign ideation, execution orchestration, and measurement intelligence across the central marketing platforms
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the full product lifecycle—from discovery and requirements definition through launch, monitoring, and continuous optimization
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption of AI-powered capabilities
- Vision & Direction: Establish a clear vision for how MCP-based agentic systems can streamline campaign workflows, reduce manual handoffs, and measurably improve campaign performance and team velocity
- Translation & Requirements: Translate complex technical concepts (MCP, agentic AI frameworks, vendor APIs) into clear business narratives and actionable product requirements
- Vendor Integration Strategy: Manage integration strategy and relationships with internal platforms (CDP, analytics) and external vendors (marketing automation, creative AI, attribution), ensuring seamless data flow and compliance
- Success Metrics: Define success metrics (KPIs, OKRs) for AI-driven campaign capabilities, including adoption, efficiency gains, campaign lift, and time-to-market improvements
- Operating Model Excellence: Champion best practices: document handoff protocols, define phase gate entry/exit criteria, establish dependency risk frameworks, create reusable playbooks
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
Core Experience
- 7+ years of product management experience, with proven success in marketing technology platforms, martech operations, product lifecycle management, or SaaS product strategy
- 5+ years demonstrating deep expertise in product development lifecycle best practices: discovery, requirements definition, roadmap prioritization, cross-functional delivery, and post-launch optimization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with marketing technology ecosystems, including exposure to martech stacks, API integrations, data pipelines, CDP platforms, or marketing automation systems
- 2+ years managing external vendor or partner relationships, including contract negotiation, vendor performance management, and third-party integration oversight
- Experience in high-scale consumer digital products and/or marketplaces strongly preferred
AI & Technical Acumen
- Working knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or agent-to-agent (A2A) architectures; ability to evaluate how MCP-based systems solve martech workflow challenges
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and understanding of how agents orchestrate multi-step marketing workflows across vendors, products, and platforms
- Experience with prompt engineering and LLM application development (or equivalent exposure in AI-first product roles) with the ability to think clearly about AI model behavior, limitations, and guardrails
- Technical curiosity and comfort with vendor evaluation frameworks for AI/automation tools; ability to translate between engineering and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated fluency in modern AI tools to enhance product management effectiveness, including research synthesis, PRD drafting, experimentation design, data analysis, and insight generation
- Privacy and compliance awareness: working knowledge of data privacy regulations (CCPA, GDPR, state privacy laws) and ability to ensure AI-driven marketing capabilities respect user data rights, consent frameworks, and regulatory requirements
Leadership & Operating Model
- Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations in a matrixed environment
- Proven track record of building clarity in ambiguous contexts: defining roles, establishing accountability (RACI), codifying handoff protocols and playbooks
- Strong stakeholder management: ability to align executives, peers, and individual contributors around shared product vision and trade-off decisions
- Data-driven mindset with comfort building business cases, tracking KPIs, and iterating strategy based on evidence
- Excellent communication: written and verbal skills with preference for clarity and conciseness; ability to distill complexity into actionable narratives
- Bias for action: you'd rather test a rough prototype with stakeholders today than debate the "perfect" approach in meetings.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with operating model assessments, RACI matrix design, or organization design frameworks
- Knowledge of phase-gate product lifecycle models or similar governance frameworks
- Background in responsible AI, AI governance, or guardrails for autonomous systems
- Experience scaling product operations or building shared services in fast-growing organizations
- Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
- Don't check all the boxes? That's okay! We encourage you to still apply if you feel like you possess an adjacent skill set and are interested in learning more about this position.

Frame Your PM Experience Around Regulated Products
FanDuel operates under strict state-by-state gaming regulations, so highlight any experience managing projects in regulated industries like fintech, healthcare, or gambling. Compliance-adjacent PM work signals you can handle the governance overhead that comes with the role.
Target Roles Tied to Platform or Technology Teams
FanDuel's highest-volume PM hiring sits within product and engineering, not operations. When browsing openings, prioritize technology-facing Project Manager titles where visa sponsorship is more consistently offered than in corporate or administrative functions.
Get Your OPT or E-3 Timeline Straight Before Applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before your application reaches offer stage. For E-3 applicants, a new Labor Condition Application must be filed with the DOL for each employer, so factor in two to four weeks of processing before your start date.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter FanDuel PM Openings by Visa Type
Searching broad job boards won't tell you which FanDuel roles are open to visa sponsorship. Migrate Mate lets you filter Project Manager openings at FanDuel by the specific visa types they support, so you only spend time on roles that match your status.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Narrative for H-1B Petitions
USCIS scrutinizes Project Manager H-1B petitions closely because the title can appear generalist. Work with FanDuel's legal team to document that your role requires a specific bachelor's degree field, such as computer science, engineering, or information systems, not just any degree.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During Offer Negotiation
Some employers sponsor initial nonimmigrant visas but won't commit to Green Card sponsorship through PERM until later. Ask FanDuel's HR team directly whether the offer includes long-term immigrant visa support before you accept, not after onboarding paperwork is signed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does FanDuel sponsor H-1B visas for Project Managers?
Yes, FanDuel sponsors H-1B visas for Project Manager roles, particularly within its product and technology divisions. Because USCIS scrutinizes Project Manager petitions for specialty occupation eligibility, FanDuel's legal team typically documents that the role requires a degree in a specific technical field. Confirming the sponsorship scope upfront during the interview process is the most reliable way to avoid surprises.
How do I apply for Project Manager jobs at FanDuel?
Applications go through FanDuel's careers portal, where Project Manager roles are listed by team and location. Before applying, confirm the posting explicitly mentions visa sponsorship or reach out to the recruiter directly. Migrate Mate also surfaces FanDuel Project Manager openings filtered by visa type, which saves you from applying to roles where sponsorship isn't on the table.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Manager roles at FanDuel?
FanDuel has sponsored H-1B, E-3 visa, TN visa, and F-1 OPT for Project Manager positions, as well as immigrant visa pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. E-3 visa is available exclusively to Australian citizens and involves a simpler process than H-1B. TN visa applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA professional categories. The right visa depends on your citizenship and current status.
What qualifications does FanDuel expect for sponsored Project Manager roles?
FanDuel typically looks for Project Managers with a bachelor's degree in a technical or business-adjacent field, experience working on software or platform products, and familiarity with agile delivery frameworks. For visa-sponsored roles specifically, your degree field needs to align closely with the position to satisfy USCIS specialty occupation requirements, so a computer science, engineering, or information systems background strengthens your petition significantly.
How do I think about the timeline from job offer to work authorization at FanDuel?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. E-3 and TN can be processed at a consulate or port of entry in a matter of weeks. H-1B has an October 1 start date tied to the annual lottery, meaning you may wait several months after an April selection before starting. F-1 OPT allows day-one employment but expires, so aligning your offer date with your remaining OPT window is critical to avoid a gap.
