Frame Your PMP Around Infrastructure Delivery
H W Lochner focuses heavily on transportation and infrastructure projects. Tailor your resume and portfolio to highlight program oversight on civil, transit, or public works engagements rather than general corporate project management.
Target Offices With Active Project Pipelines
H W Lochner operates regional offices tied to specific state and federal contracts. Research which offices are currently staffing major program delivery work, since sponsored roles tend to open where project backlogs justify senior management headcount.
Ask About Sponsorship During the Offer Stage
Raise the sponsorship question directly once you receive a verbal offer, not during early interviews. At this stage, ask whether the company works with outside immigration counsel and whether H-1B filing costs are covered, since consulting firms vary widely in their policy.
Use Migrate Mate to Surface Open Roles Efficiently
Searching manually across job boards misses roles that disappear quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Project Program Manager positions at H W Lochner that are tied to visa sponsorship, so you're applying to verified opportunities rather than guessing at eligibility.

Find Project Program Manager at H W Lochner JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does H W Lochner sponsor H-1B visas for Project Program Managers?
Yes, H W Lochner has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Program Managers. The company operates in the infrastructure consulting sector where specialized program management expertise is in consistent demand, making it a realistic sponsor for qualified candidates. You should raise sponsorship directly during the offer stage to confirm the company's current policy for your specific role and office location.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Program Manager roles at H W Lochner?
H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant visa for this role, given that project and program management positions in engineering consulting typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS standards. H W Lochner has also sponsored employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories for longer-tenured professionals, which require a DOL PERM labor certification before the immigrant petition can be filed.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Project Program Manager roles at H W Lochner?
H W Lochner typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related technical field, along with substantial experience managing large-scale infrastructure or transportation programs. A PMP certification strengthens your application. Experience working with public sector clients or federal and state transportation agencies is particularly relevant given the company's project portfolio in that space.
How do I apply for Project Program Manager jobs at H W Lochner?
You can browse and apply for open Project Program Manager positions at H W Lochner through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're not wasting time on positions that won't support your immigration status. When applying, tailor your materials to highlight program delivery experience on infrastructure or transportation projects, since that aligns directly with H W Lochner's core client base.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take at a consulting firm like H W Lochner?
From the time an offer is extended, the process typically takes three to six months under standard USCIS processing, assuming the employer files during the annual cap season with an October 1 start date. USCIS premium processing is available and reduces the adjudication window to roughly 15 business days, though the employer decides whether to cover that cost. Factor in additional time if the company pursues PERM for a Green Card simultaneously.
