Frame credentials around fleet operations experience
Hertz Program Managers often oversee fleet lifecycle projects and cross-location rollouts. Tailor your resume to highlight supply chain, logistics, or large-scale asset management programs, not just general project delivery credentials.
Target roles that cross operational and corporate functions
Hertz posts Program Manager roles across both field operations and corporate technology. Roles tied to fleet systems, digital transformation, or revenue management tend to align with specialty occupation criteria that support H-1B filings.
Verify your LCA before accepting an offer
Before signing, confirm your employer has filed a Labor Condition Application with DOL certifying the prevailing wage for your location. Hertz operates across many metro markets, and the LCA wage floor varies significantly by city.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open roles by sponsorship type
Hertz lists Program Manager openings across multiple business units at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Hertz roles that match your visa category so you're applying where sponsorship is already on the table.
Ask specifically about PERM sponsorship during negotiations
Hertz sponsors Green Cards through PERM-based EB-2 and EB-3 categories for select roles. During the offer stage, ask directly whether the Program Manager position is eligible for permanent residency sponsorship and what the typical initiation timeline looks like.

Find Program Manager at Hertz JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Hertz sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Hertz sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. Program Manager positions typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria because they require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, operations management, or engineering. Sponsorship activity for this role is consistent, though availability depends on the specific business unit and location.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Hertz?
Applications go through Hertz's careers portal, where Program Manager roles are listed by department and location. Before applying, confirm the role matches your visa category and that sponsorship is available for that specific position. Migrate Mate aggregates Hertz Program Manager openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, which makes it easier to identify the right postings without screening each one manually.
Which visa types does Hertz commonly use for Program Manager roles?
Hertz sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization for Program Managers, and also supports F-1 OPT extensions for recent graduates already in the pipeline. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose degree and role align with qualifying USMCA categories. For longer-term employees, Hertz has pursued EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process.
What qualifications does Hertz expect for sponsored Program Manager positions?
Hertz typically looks for a bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, supply chain, or a related technical field. Practical experience managing cross-functional programs, ideally in fleet, logistics, or service operations, strengthens your profile significantly. PMP certification is a differentiator for corporate-facing roles. The specialty occupation threshold for H-1B purposes means a clearly degree-dependent role is more defensible during USCIS adjudication.
How long does the H-1B sponsorship process take for a Hertz Program Manager role?
The full H-1B process from offer to authorized start date spans roughly six to twelve months for cap-subject cases, given the April lottery registration window and October 1 start date for new H-1B employees. DOL LCA certification typically takes seven to ten business days. USCIS standard processing adds three to five months. Premium processing, which Hertz can elect to pay, reduces the USCIS adjudication window to roughly fifteen business days.
