Verify your medical credentials transfer correctly
ECFMG certification, USMLE scores, and state medical licensure are non-negotiable for U.S. physician roles. Confirm your credentials are fully verified before outreach, since dermatology practices cannot start sponsorship paperwork until your clinical eligibility is established.
Target Integrated Dermatology's specific practice locations
Integrated Dermatology operates across multiple states with varying licensure requirements. Research which states have open Physician roles and whether you hold or can quickly obtain a license there, since H-1B petitions are tied to specific work locations.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Physician roles
Integrated Dermatology posts Physician openings across dozens of practice sites at once. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles where visa sponsorship is available, saving you time instead of applying blindly across a sprawling multi-location employer.
Clarify sponsorship scope during initial recruiter contact
Ask the recruiter directly whether the role supports H-1B change of status or consular processing only. Some practice locations within a group like Integrated Dermatology operate under different legal entities, which affects how sponsorship is structured and who files the petition.
Understand the PERM timeline if you need a Green Card
If permanent residence is your goal, ask early whether the Physician role qualifies for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship. PERM labor certification through DOL adds significant lead time, and some dermatology roles in shortage areas may qualify for National Interest Waivers that skip PERM entirely.
Prepare for a gap between offer and start date
USCIS H-1B processing for physician roles typically runs three to six months without premium processing. Negotiate your start date with Integrated Dermatology's hiring team accordingly, and confirm whether the practice will cover premium processing to compress that timeline.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Integrated Dermatology sponsor H-1B visas for Physicians?
Yes, Integrated Dermatology has sponsored H-1B visas for Physician roles. The company operates across multiple states, and sponsorship availability can vary by practice location since individual sites may function under different legal entities. Confirming sponsorship directly with the recruiter for your target location is the most reliable approach before investing time in the application process.
How do I apply for Physician jobs at Integrated Dermatology?
You can browse open Physician positions at Integrated Dermatology through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles with visa sponsorship available. When you apply, lead with your board certification status, active state medical license, and ECFMG certification if applicable. Integrated Dermatology recruits across a large network of dermatology practices, so specifying your preferred location in your application helps the hiring team match you to the right site.
Which visa types does Integrated Dermatology sponsor for Physician roles?
Integrated Dermatology has sponsored Physicians on H-1B, TN visa, and F-1 OPT visas, and has pursued EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term placements. TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican physicians in qualifying roles. F-1 OPT and CPT are more commonly used for residency-adjacent roles than attending physician positions, so confirm which visa type applies to the specific opening you're targeting.
What qualifications does Integrated Dermatology expect for sponsored Physician positions?
Most Physician openings at Integrated Dermatology require board certification or board eligibility in dermatology, an active state medical license in the relevant state, and completion of a U.S.-accredited residency program. International medical graduates must also hold valid ECFMG certification. Some practice sites prefer candidates with additional fellowship training in procedural or cosmetic dermatology, particularly in competitive markets.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Physician roles at Integrated Dermatology?
For H-1B sponsorship, USCIS standard processing takes three to six months after filing. Premium processing can reduce that to roughly 15 business days. If PERM labor certification is required for a Green Card pathway, add 12 to 18 months for DOL processing before USCIS adjudication begins. Building this timeline into your offer negotiation with Integrated Dermatology's hiring team helps set a realistic start date.
