Align your credentials to Jabil's process focus
Jabil's Manufacturing Associate roles emphasize electronics assembly, surface mount technology, and lean manufacturing principles. Certifications in IPC standards or Six Sigma strengthen your profile before you apply, signaling direct relevance to their production environment.
Target sites with high production volume
Jabil operates large-scale facilities in states like Florida, Kentucky, and California. Facilities running 24/7 shifts in electronics hardware manufacturing tend to post the most Manufacturing Associate openings and carry more urgent hiring timelines, which works in your favor.
Search open Manufacturing Associate roles on Migrate Mate
Filter by visa type and industry to find Jabil's Manufacturing Associate postings alongside their sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces roles from employers actively filing, so you spend less time guessing which positions are genuinely open to sponsored candidates.
Prepare for PERM-stage documentation early
If Jabil sponsors you toward an EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card, the DOL PERM labor certification requires documented proof of your qualifications. Keep copies of diplomas, transcripts, and performance reviews organized from your first day, not after the process starts.

Does Jabil sponsor H-1B visas for Manufacturing Associates?
Yes, Jabil sponsors H-1B visas for Manufacturing Associate roles. The company has a consistent record of filing H-1B petitions for this function, particularly at its larger electronics and hardware production facilities. If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, your employer will need to submit a cap-subject petition during the USCIS registration window each spring.
How do I apply for Manufacturing Associate jobs at Jabil?
Applications go through Jabil's careers portal, where roles are listed by facility location and function. You can also find Manufacturing Associate openings at Jabil filtered by visa sponsorship type on Migrate Mate, which makes it easier to identify positions where sponsorship is actively available before you invest time in a full application.
Which visa types does Jabil commonly use for Manufacturing Associate roles?
Jabil supports several visa categories for Manufacturing Associates, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3. F-1 OPT and CPT are common entry points for recent graduates, with H-1B and PERM sponsorship following for candidates who convert to full-time roles.
What qualifications does Jabil expect for Manufacturing Associate positions?
Most Manufacturing Associate roles at Jabil require a background in electronics, mechanical engineering, or industrial technology, either through a degree or hands-on production experience. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, quality control processes, and electronics assembly is valued. Roles in hardware-focused facilities may also expect knowledge of IPC standards or ESD handling procedures.
How long does the visa sponsorship process typically take for a Jabil Manufacturing Associate hire?
Timeline depends on visa type. F-1 OPT authorization through USCIS takes approximately 90 days, so apply early relative to your graduation date. H-1B cap petitions follow the April 1 filing window with an October 1 start date. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through DOL typically runs 12 to 24 months before an I-140 petition can be filed.
