The Engineering Assistant I at Jabil, Inc. supports engineering teams in various tasks, contributing to the development, testing, and maintenance of products and processes. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
- Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and test fixtures and JIGs.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and simulations under supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to products or processes.
- Participate in prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
