Align your resume to staffing workflows
Jobot fills Project Assistant roles that support client-facing project delivery, not just internal operations. Highlight experience with task tracking tools, meeting coordination, and cross-functional communication to match what their clients actually request.
Target Jobot openings tagged for immediate placement
Staffing firms like Jobot often post Project Assistant roles tied to active client contracts with tight start dates. Filter for listings that specify contract-to-hire or direct placement, since those roles are more likely to move quickly through the offer and filing process.
Confirm TN eligibility before your recruiter screen
TN status for Project Assistant roles typically requires a qualifying professional category under USMCA. Before your first recruiter call, verify your job duties map to an eligible TN classification so Jobot's team can accurately assess sponsorship feasibility from the start.
Ask about H-1B transfer timing during offer negotiation
If you already hold H-1B status with another employer, Jobot can file a transfer petition, and you can start working once USCIS receives it. Raise this during offer negotiation so the start date reflects USCIS receipt timelines, not just client availability.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Project Assistant roles at Jobot
Jobot posts Project Assistant openings across multiple client verticals at different times. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Jobot listings that include visa sponsorship, so you're applying to roles where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than negotiating it after the fact.

Find Project Assistant at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Project Assistants?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Project Assistant roles. As a staffing and recruiting firm, Jobot can act as the petitioning employer for both new H-1B filings and transfers from existing H-1B holders. Sponsorship availability depends on the specific client engagement and role, so confirm sponsorship intent with your recruiter before accepting an offer.
Which visa types are commonly used for Project Assistant roles at Jobot?
Jobot supports H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visa holders for Project Assistant positions. F-1 OPT is often the most straightforward path for recent graduates already authorized to work, while TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose role qualifies under USMCA professional categories. H-1B sponsorship is available but tied to specific client engagements and role requirements.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Project Assistant roles at Jobot?
Most Project Assistant roles at Jobot require a bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field, along with hands-on experience supporting project coordination, scheduling, or documentation. Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, or Microsoft Project is frequently requested. Client-specific requirements vary, so review each listing carefully before applying.
How do I apply for Project Assistant jobs at Jobot?
Use Migrate Mate to browse Project Assistant openings at Jobot that include visa sponsorship. Filter by role and employer to find active listings, then apply directly through the platform. When you connect with a Jobot recruiter, disclose your visa status upfront and ask specifically which sponsorship types are available for that client engagement before moving forward in the process.
How do I plan my timeline if Jobot is filing an H-1B for me?
If you're not already on H-1B status, new cap-subject petitions are subject to the annual lottery with a start date of October 1. USCIS typically opens registration in March. If you're transferring an existing H-1B, work can begin once USCIS receives the petition. Build your job search timeline around these windows and discuss expected start dates with your Jobot recruiter accordingly.
