Salary: $150,000 - $450,000 per year
A bit about us:
Jobbot's client is an established, privately backed services firm operating across the U.S. and Canada. They work with some of the largest and most recognizable companies in the country, delivering technical field services that keep complex infrastructure running safely and efficiently. They've been doing this for a long time, they're good at it, and they're growing — which is why this role exists.
Why join us?
The electrical infrastructure world is having its moment — and the companies building the backbone of the AI economy need serious support to keep their power systems running. This isn't a role where you'll be cold-calling SMBs from a cubicle. You'll be working at the national level, owning relationships with some of the biggest names in tech, and operating as a true strategic partner — not just a vendor rep. The comp reflects the seriousness of the role: $160K–$190K base, with room to grow.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Our client is looking for a National Account Manager to own and grow a book of hyperscale and enterprise data center accounts across the country. You'll be the senior relationship holder — building exec-level trust, developing account strategies, leading client presentations, and keeping things moving across internal teams.
What the role looks like:
- National scope, ~50% travel
- Proximity to a major airport matters more than the exact zip code
- Base: $160K–$220k + aggressive commission
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
What you bring:
- 5+ years managing national or regional accounts in a technical services environment — data center experience is the target, but we'll talk to strong PMs or engineers from that world who are ready to move into sales.
- Existing relationships with hyperscalers — this is the real qualifier.
- Strong presence, sharp communication, and the ability to think strategically across a complex account portfolio.
Straightforward role, serious company, real money. Reach out if it fits.

Frame your staffing experience around revenue outcomes
Jobot evaluates Account Managers on client acquisition and retention metrics. Before applying, document your book of business, client growth percentages, and billing performance. Concrete numbers from prior staffing or recruiting roles signal you can contribute immediately.
Confirm the role qualifies as a specialty occupation
H-1B eligibility requires your Account Manager position to meet USCIS specialty occupation standards. Roles emphasizing consultative sales, market strategy, or technical recruiting pipelines have a stronger case than pure transactional sales positions. Clarify the job description before your offer stage.
Target Jobot's high-volume hiring markets strategically
Jobot posts Account Manager openings across multiple U.S. markets simultaneously. Prioritize locations where the company has active staffing contracts in technology, finance, or engineering sectors, since those offices tend to build headcount faster and move candidates through the offer process more quickly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Account Manager openings by visa type
Jobot's open roles span multiple offices and specializations. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Account Manager positions where H-1B, F-1 OPT, or TN sponsorship is indicated, so you're not spending time on listings that won't support your status.
Align your visa timeline with Jobot's offer process
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your remaining work authorization window before starting conversations. Jobot will need enough lead time to file an H-1B cap-subject petition by the April 1 filing deadline for an October 1 start, so late-cycle offers create real timing risk.
Verify your TN eligibility before pitching yourself as a candidate
Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status under the Management Consultant category, but the role description must genuinely reflect consulting or advisory functions. Review the DOL's qualifying activities list and confirm the Account Manager duties at Jobot match before your interview.

Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Account Managers?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Account Manager roles. Because Jobot operates in staffing and recruiting, H-1B eligibility depends on whether the specific role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards. Roles with a consultative or strategic focus are more likely to meet that bar than entry-level sales positions. Confirm the job description aligns before pursuing the offer.
How do I apply for Account Manager jobs at Jobot?
You can browse and apply for Account Manager openings at Jobot directly through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship type so you can identify roles where H-1B, F-1 OPT, or TN support is available. Jobot also posts on its own careers page. Tailor your application to highlight client relationship management and revenue-generating experience, since those are the core competencies the company screens for in this role.
Which visa types does Jobot commonly use for Account Manager roles?
Jobot has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Account Manager positions. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering the role, while H-1B covers longer-term employment. TN status is an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose job duties align with qualifying DOL categories such as Management Consultant. The right visa type depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific responsibilities of the role you're offered.
What qualifications does Jobot look for in Account Manager candidates who need sponsorship?
Jobot typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience managing client accounts or driving revenue in a staffing or professional services environment. For H-1B sponsorship purposes, the degree requirement also helps establish specialty occupation status with USCIS. Prior experience in a staffing agency or high-volume sales environment strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How long does the sponsorship and onboarding process typically take at Jobot?
If you're starting on F-1 OPT, you can begin work as soon as your EAD is valid and the role is authorized. An H-1B cap-subject petition must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 employment start, so timing your offer relative to that annual window matters. USCIS premium processing can reduce the adjudication wait to 15 business days if Jobot opts in, though that decision rests with the employer.
