Frame your demo skills around LangChain's stack
LangChain's enterprise sales team sells developer tooling and AI orchestration infrastructure. Before applying, build hands-on familiarity with LangChain and LangGraph so you can speak to real implementation scenarios, not just sales methodology.
Confirm LCA filings before your interview
Before your final interview rounds, verify that LangChain has filed Labor Condition Applications for Solutions Engineer roles via the DOL's OFLC disclosure database. This tells you the role has a documented sponsorship history and the offer stage won't be a surprise.
Separate E-3 and H-1B timelines in your planning
If you're Australian, an E-3 approval can happen weeks after your offer. H-1B requires an October start and lottery entry by March. Knowing which visa applies to you shapes how you negotiate your start date with LangChain's recruiting team.
Target roles with 'enterprise' or 'strategic' in the title
LangChain's Solutions Engineer roles span inbound technical sales and outbound enterprise deals. Roles aligned to strategic or enterprise accounts are more likely to involve complex, multi-stakeholder deployments where your technical depth justifies visa sponsorship investment from the employer.
Use Migrate Mate to find open sponsorship-eligible roles
Browse Sales Solutions Engineer openings at LangChain filtered by visa type using Migrate Mate. It surfaces roles where sponsorship has been filed before, saving you from applying to positions where immigration support is off the table from the start.
Get your I-129 petition documents ready before the offer
Once LangChain extends an offer, USCIS requires Form I-129 along with your academic credentials and employment verification. Have degree certificates, transcripts, and prior work authorization documents organized in advance so your employer's immigration counsel can move quickly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LangChain sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Solutions Engineers?
Yes, LangChain has sponsored H-1B visas for Sales Solutions Engineers. The H-1B is a cap-subject visa requiring an annual lottery, with registrations typically opening in March for an October 1 start date. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, a transfer to LangChain avoids the lottery entirely and can happen much faster.
Which visa types are commonly used for Sales Solutions Engineer roles at LangChain?
LangChain sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for this role. The H-1B is available to nationals of any country, while the E-3 is exclusive to Australian citizens and offers a simpler, faster process with no lottery. Both require the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, which a Solutions Engineer position at an AI software company typically satisfies.
How do I apply for Sales Solutions Engineer jobs at LangChain?
Applications go through LangChain's careers page, where Solutions Engineer roles are listed under sales or go-to-market teams. Migrate Mate also indexes LangChain's open roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, so you can confirm the role supports your visa type before applying. Tailor your application to highlight enterprise technical sales experience and hands-on AI or developer tooling knowledge.
What qualifications does LangChain expect for a Sales Solutions Engineer?
LangChain typically looks for experience supporting enterprise software sales cycles with a technical component, familiarity with APIs, LLMs, or developer tooling, and the ability to run product demos and proof-of-concept engagements. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field strengthens your H-1B or E-3 specialty occupation eligibility, as both visas require a degree directly relevant to the role.
How do I understand the visa sponsorship timeline for a role at LangChain?
The timeline depends on your visa type. E-3 sponsorship can move from offer to visa stamp in four to eight weeks. H-1B sponsorship tied to a new lottery cap slot requires starting the process in March and waiting until October 1 to begin work, though premium processing through USCIS reduces petition adjudication time to around 15 business days. Discuss timing expectations with LangChain's recruiting team early in the process.
