INTRODUCTION
The Autonomous Vehicles (AV) team is searching for a highly motivated, highly technical Program Manager to define and build the future of NVIDIA's self-driving software. Our mission is to build and scale self-driving technology at light speed – from L2 driving to L4 robotaxis. We work with multiple OEM partners globally, and our software will be used by millions of customers worldwide. If this sounds like an exciting challenge, read on!
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will be responsible for the product life cycle and safety aspect of NVIDIA's stack. You will need to deeply understand how NVIDIA delivers and implements ISO 26262. Your role includes tracking the execution across the entire program to ensure delivery timelines can be met and continuously improving execution processes. You will work closely with developers and safety engineers to deliver the best technology solutions for these problems. Ultimately you will ensure our products can actually be released, making the future of self-driving vehicles a reality.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate closely with experts in safety engineering to gain a comprehensive grasp of the full set of expectations for the next release holistically and for each team.
- Interact directly with and support engineers and engineering leads to meet the safety goals on time.
- Coordinate and collaborate with teams and internal customers to deliver those roadmaps: communicate and resolve bottlenecks, address issues, and measure outcomes.
- Develop a deep technical understanding of your area of ownership, and to proactively identify areas of improvement and investment, influencing technical direction.
- Escalating technical, resource and compliance risks across the product teams with mitigation plans.
- Engaging with internal teams to root cause workflow/tooling bottlenecks to direct problems to the appropriate engineering teams for resolution.
- Work collaboratively with other technical product managers and technical leads to understand the sophisticated self-driving problems we are solving, and to break down these problems into a solution with prioritized technical requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
What we need to see:
- Driven, hands on, leader with strong skills in communication, influencing, and multi-functional team building across time zones.
- Creative problem solver who can handle ambiguous situations, reach consensus, and make decisions.
- Execution focus, with experience bringing new and innovative products and technologies into reality.
- 12+ years of recent Product or Program Management experience.
- BS/MS Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Relevant domain knowledge/experience (ISO 26262, Product Life Cycle).
- Experience in a fast-paced AI company or Autonomous Vehicle company.
- Showing you always strive to learn new things, are motivated to tackle hard problems, and that you care about the end product.
- Ability to support software engineers on a technical level.
COMPENSATION
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
Applications for this job will be accepted at least until April 25, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Align your credentials to NVIDIA's TPM expectations
NVIDIA's TPM roles sit at the intersection of engineering and execution. Frame your resume around cross-functional program delivery in hardware, silicon, or AI systems rather than general project management. PMP certification alone won't differentiate you here.
Target open requisitions by product organization
NVIDIA staffs TPMs across distinct orgs including GeForce, Data Center, and Networking. Filtering open roles by business unit lets you tailor your application to programs you can speak to credibly, which matters at the interview stage.
Understand how NVIDIA structures H-1B sponsorship
NVIDIA files H-1B petitions after an offer is extended, not before. Once you have an offer, your start date depends on your current status and whether premium processing is used. The standard USCIS adjudication window runs several months, so plan accordingly.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation early
NVIDIA's TPM roles typically require a bachelor's degree in a technical field. If your degree is from outside the U.S., get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before your offer stage so it doesn't delay your I-129 filing.
Ask about E-3 eligibility if you hold Australian citizenship
NVIDIA sponsors the E-3 visa, which is available only to Australian citizens. It bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely and can be filed at a U.S. consulate abroad. Raise your eligibility with the recruiter before the offer conversation to speed up the process.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active NVIDIA TPM openings
NVIDIA posts TPM roles across multiple internal portals and the listings can move quickly. Migrate Mate filters open Technical Program Manager positions by sponsorship type so you can identify and apply to the right roles before they close.

Find Technical Program Manager at NVIDIA JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does NVIDIA sponsor H-1B visas for Technical Program Managers?
Yes, NVIDIA sponsors H-1B visas for Technical Program Manager roles. The sponsorship process begins after an offer is accepted. NVIDIA's legal team handles the Labor Condition Application filing with DOL and the subsequent I-129 petition with USCIS. If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your start date will align with the October 1 fiscal year start following a successful lottery selection.
How do I apply for Technical Program Manager jobs at NVIDIA?
Apply directly through NVIDIA's careers portal and tailor your application to the specific product organization you're targeting, whether that's Data Center, GeForce, or another division. TPM roles at NVIDIA move competitively, so responding quickly after a role posts matters. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse current NVIDIA TPM openings filtered by visa sponsorship type, which helps you prioritize roles that match your immigration situation.
Which visa types does NVIDIA commonly sponsor for Technical Program Manager roles?
NVIDIA sponsors H-1B, E-3, and employment-based Green Cards including EB-2 and EB-3 for Technical Program Managers. The E-3 is available exclusively to Australian citizens and avoids the H-1B lottery. The EB-2 and EB-3 pathways typically come after you've been employed at NVIDIA for some time and the company initiates PERM labor certification on your behalf.
What qualifications does NVIDIA look for in Technical Program Manager candidates?
NVIDIA's TPM roles require a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical field. Practical experience managing cross-functional programs in hardware development, chip design, or AI infrastructure is weighted heavily. Candidates who can demonstrate familiarity with silicon bring-up schedules, firmware dependencies, or GPU software stacks tend to progress further in the interview process than those with purely software or IT program management backgrounds.
How do I think about immigration timing when targeting a TPM role at NVIDIA?
If you're on OPT, confirm how many months remain before accepting an offer, since USCIS H-1B adjudication plus the October 1 start date can create a gap if your OPT expires earlier. If you're in a 60-day grace period between jobs, NVIDIA can file a cap-exempt change of status in some situations, but that depends on your prior visa history. Discuss timing with the recruiter and NVIDIA's immigration counsel as early as possible.
