To assist in two research projects for grants and publications: One of the projects focuses on post-stroke recovery, is well-developed but requires new work to address reviewer comments. The second project focuses on new pharmacological targets and is in its early development.

- Participate in production, purification and testing of recombinant enzymes for pharmacological studies.
- Participate in vitro and in vivo studies focusing on stroke neuroprotection and functional recovery.
- Presentation of research findings in the form of manuscripts, abstracts, and lab meeting talks for publications and grant applications.
