Verify Your Medical Physics Credentials Early
PAGNY hires physics professionals to support clinical operations, so board certification from ABMP or ABR carries real weight. Confirm your credentials are current and translatable to U.S. healthcare standards before you apply.
Target Roles Aligned with EB-2 NIW Eligibility
Medical physicists supporting patient care in underserved hospital settings can qualify for EB-2 National Interest Waiver petitions. If your work advances healthcare outcomes, document that impact in specific terms before approaching PAGNY's HR team.
Understand PERM Before Accepting an Offer
EB-3 sponsorship at large healthcare employers like PAGNY typically requires PERM labor certification through DOL, which can take a year or more. Ask during negotiations whether PAGNY has in-house counsel handling PERM filings or works with outside immigration attorneys.
Browse Open Physics Positions on Migrate Mate
Search Migrate Mate to filter Physics openings at PAGNY by visa sponsorship type. It surfaces roles where sponsorship is confirmed, saving you from applying to positions where international candidates aren't considered.
Prepare for Hospital Credentialing Alongside Your Visa Process
Physics roles embedded in PAGNY's hospital affiliates require separate credentialing through those facilities. Start gathering your education verification, clinical references, and malpractice history documentation in parallel with your visa paperwork to avoid delays after an offer.

Find Physics at PHYSICIAN AFFILIATE GROUP OF NEW YORK JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does PHYSICIAN AFFILIATE GROUP OF NEW YORK sponsor H-1B visas for Physicists?
PAGNY's primary sponsorship pathway for Physics professionals runs through employment-based Green Card categories like EB-2 and EB-3, not H-1B. That said, if you're already in H-1B status with another employer, PAGNY could potentially transfer your petition. Confirm their current policy directly with their HR or immigration counsel during the offer stage.
How do I apply for Physics jobs at PHYSICIAN AFFILIATE GROUP OF NEW YORK?
You can browse open Physics positions at PAGNY through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship eligibility. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly through PAGNY's careers portal or the listed application channel. Tailor your CV to highlight clinical physics experience and any board certifications relevant to U.S. healthcare settings.
Which visa types does PHYSICIAN AFFILIATE GROUP OF NEW YORK commonly use for Physics roles?
PAGNY sponsors Physics professionals primarily through EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based Green Card pathways. EB-2 applies to roles requiring an advanced degree or exceptional ability, while EB-3 covers positions requiring a bachelor's degree or equivalent. For candidates with strong national interest arguments, EB-2 with a National Interest Waiver is also worth exploring.
What qualifications does PHYSICIAN AFFILIATE GROUP OF NEW YORK expect for Physics candidates?
Physics roles at PAGNY typically require a graduate degree in medical physics, health physics, or a closely related discipline, along with clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare environment. Board certification from the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics strengthens your application significantly. Familiarity with radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging, or radiation safety protocols is often expected.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Physics roles at PAGNY?
EB-3 sponsorship involving PERM labor certification through DOL typically takes one to two years from filing to I-140 approval, not counting any visa backlog wait. EB-2 without PERM can move faster if you qualify for a National Interest Waiver. USCIS premium processing is available for I-140 petitions and can accelerate adjudication to 15 business days once PERM is complete.
