Get your NCLEX and credential evaluation done early
State nursing licensure and a credential evaluation from CGFNS or NACES are prerequisites before Riverside Healthcare can initiate sponsorship. Delays in evaluation can push your start date back by months, so begin both processes before you receive an offer.
Target units with ongoing recruitment cycles
Riverside Healthcare consistently posts Registered Nurse openings across med-surg, ICU, and emergency departments. Applying to high-volume clinical units improves your chances of landing a role with a hiring manager already familiar with the sponsorship process.
Clarify sponsorship scope before signing your offer
Before accepting, confirm whether Riverside Healthcare will cover PERM labor certification for EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, not just H-1B. Some healthcare employers limit sponsorship to temporary status, so get the commitment in writing during negotiation.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Riverside Healthcare RN openings by visa type
Registered Nurse roles across Riverside Healthcare's network are listed on Migrate Mate, filterable by the visa types they support. Use it to identify which specific postings are actively seeking sponsored candidates before you apply.
Respond to USCIS Requests for Evidence quickly
Healthcare RFEs often challenge whether a Registered Nurse role qualifies as a specialty occupation. Work with Riverside Healthcare's immigration counsel immediately if one arrives. Delays beyond the USCIS response window can invalidate the petition entirely.

Find Registered Nurse at Riverside Healthcare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Riverside Healthcare sponsor H-1B visas for Registered Nurses?
Yes, Riverside Healthcare sponsors H-1B visas for Registered Nurse positions. Because H-1B is subject to the annual cap and lottery, timing matters. Your employer must submit a registration in March for an October start date. If you're already on OPT or another status, cap-exempt pathways through nonprofit-affiliated hospital systems may also apply.
Which visa types does Riverside Healthcare commonly use for Registered Nurse roles?
Riverside Healthcare sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and employment-based Green Card categories including EB-2 and EB-3. For internationally trained nurses, EB-3 with PERM labor certification is a common long-term pathway. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nurses in qualifying RN roles. The right option depends on your nationality, current status, and career timeline.
What qualifications does Riverside Healthcare expect for Registered Nurse positions?
Riverside Healthcare generally requires an active RN license in the relevant U.S. state, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and passing NCLEX scores. International applicants typically need a credential evaluation through CGFNS confirming their foreign degree is equivalent to a U.S. BSN. Clinical specialization in areas like ICU, med-surg, or emergency nursing strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I apply for Registered Nurse jobs at Riverside Healthcare?
You can browse and apply for Registered Nurse roles at Riverside Healthcare directly through Migrate Mate, which lists their open positions filtered by visa sponsorship type. Apply to units aligned with your clinical background, confirm sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter early in the process, and have your NCLEX results and credential evaluation ready before your first interview.
How do I understand the timeline for Registered Nurse sponsorship at Riverside Healthcare?
Timeline depends heavily on visa type. F-1 OPT allows you to start within days of an offer if authorization is current. H-1B sponsorship requires lottery selection in April and a minimum October start. EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through PERM can take two or more years depending on your country of birth and DOL processing backlogs. Plan your pathway before accepting an offer.
