Verify your credentials meet U.S. licensing standards
Healthcare roles in Illinois require state licensure, and Riverside Healthcare expects candidates to hold or be eligible for the relevant credential before an offer is extended. Start the evaluation process through your profession's national credentialing body well before you apply.
Target roles aligned with your visa category
Riverside Healthcare sponsors multiple visa types, including H-1B, TN, and employment-based Green Cards. Match the role's specialty and degree requirements to your visa category early, since a mismatch between your qualifications and the job description can stall USCIS adjudication.
Search open Healthcare roles on Migrate Mate
Riverside Healthcare posts actively across healthcare disciplines. Use Migrate Mate to filter open positions by role type and sponsorship eligibility so you're applying to listings where your visa pathway is already confirmed, not guessing from a general job board.
Ask HR about their PERM experience during screening
If you're targeting an EB-2 or EB-3 path, the PERM labor certification process adds significant timeline complexity. Asking the recruiter directly about their experience managing DOL-supervised recruitment requirements tells you whether the team is prepared to support a multi-year sponsorship commitment.
Factor cap-gap risk into your start date conversation
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT, your work authorization depends on USCIS receiving an H-1B petition before your OPT expires. Align your offer timeline so there's enough lead time to file before the April 1 cap-subject window and avoid an employment gap.
Prepare a skills-forward resume for clinical screening
Riverside Healthcare's clinical hiring teams screen for specific competencies, certifications, and patient care experience relevant to the posting. Structure your resume around measurable clinical outcomes and certifications rather than job duties, since that framing performs better in applicant tracking systems used by large health systems.

Find Healthcare at Riverside Healthcare JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Riverside Healthcare sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, Riverside Healthcare sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying healthcare roles. To be eligible, the position must meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, which requires a theoretical and practical application of highly specialized knowledge and a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field. Clinical, allied health, and technical roles that carry a degree requirement typically qualify.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Riverside Healthcare?
Start by browsing open Healthcare positions on Migrate Mate, where you can filter for roles at Riverside Healthcare that align with your visa type. Once you identify a match, apply through Riverside Healthcare's careers portal. Include your licensure status, visa category, and authorization timeline upfront so the recruiting team can assess sponsorship fit from the first screening call.
Which visa types does Riverside Healthcare commonly use for Healthcare roles?
Riverside Healthcare sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation clinical and technical roles, TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying healthcare professions, and employment-based immigrant visas including EB-2 and EB-3 for candidates pursuing a permanent residency pathway. F-1 OPT and CPT are also supported for students completing healthcare-related degree programs in the U.S.
What qualifications does Riverside Healthcare expect for Healthcare positions?
Expectations vary by role, but most clinical positions require an active or pending U.S. state license in the relevant discipline, such as RN licensure for nursing roles or board certification for specialist positions. Allied health roles typically require a degree in the specific field and applicable national certification. Riverside Healthcare generally expects candidates to be license-eligible before an offer is made.
How do I plan around the H-1B timeline when targeting Riverside Healthcare?
H-1B petitions for cap-subject roles must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you're on F-1 OPT, your employer needs to file before your OPT expires to preserve cap-gap protection. For EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, the DOL PERM labor certification process typically runs six months to over a year before USCIS filing, so start that conversation with Riverside Healthcare's HR team early.
