Verify your credentials before applying
Healthcare Assistant roles often require state-specific certifications like a Certified Nursing Assistant license or phlebotomy credential. Confirm your credentials are valid in Riverside Healthcare's operating state before submitting your application, since conditional offers frequently depend on this.
Ask HR which visa types they file for this role
Riverside Healthcare sponsors multiple visa types for Healthcare Assistants, including TN and EB-3. During your interview process, ask HR directly which categories they've used for this role before, since not every hiring team knows the full range available to them.
Understand the PERM timeline for EB-3 sponsorship
If Riverside Healthcare offers EB-3 sponsorship, PERM labor certification with the DOL typically takes 12 to 18 months before an immigrant petition can be filed. Build this into your long-term planning so a lengthy process doesn't catch you off guard.
Browse open Healthcare Assistant roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Healthcare Assistant positions at Riverside Healthcare by visa type. This saves time by surfacing only the roles where your specific sponsorship need is already supported, rather than filtering manually across general job boards.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
Healthcare employers sponsoring visa holders must be enrolled in E-Verify to verify your work authorization. Before you finalize an offer with Riverside Healthcare, confirm their enrollment status through the E-Verify employer search tool on the USCIS website.

Does Riverside Healthcare sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistants?
Yes, Riverside Healthcare has a history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Healthcare Assistant roles. Because Healthcare Assistant positions typically require at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as health sciences or biology to qualify as a specialty occupation under H-1B rules, you'll want to confirm your educational background aligns with USCIS requirements before pursuing this path.
How do I apply for Healthcare Assistant jobs at Riverside Healthcare?
Search for open Healthcare Assistant positions directly through Riverside Healthcare's careers portal or on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type. When you apply, be upfront about your visa status and sponsorship needs in your application. Most Riverside Healthcare hiring teams review sponsorship eligibility early in the process, so clarity upfront prevents delays later.
Which visa types does Riverside Healthcare commonly use for Healthcare Assistant roles?
Riverside Healthcare sponsors several visa categories for Healthcare Assistants, including H-1B, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals, F-1 OPT and CPT for students in qualifying programs, and employment-based Green Card pathways like EB-2 and EB-3. The right visa depends on your nationality, educational background, and how long you've been in the United States. Discuss your situation with HR early in the hiring process.
What qualifications does Riverside Healthcare expect for Healthcare Assistant positions?
Riverside Healthcare typically expects Healthcare Assistants to hold a relevant certification such as a Certified Nursing Assistant credential or equivalent, along with hands-on clinical or patient care experience. For visa sponsorship, particularly H-1B, your degree field needs to align closely with the role's duties. Roles involving specialized tasks like phlebotomy, EKG monitoring, or direct patient support often carry clearer qualification requirements.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Healthcare Assistants at Riverside Healthcare?
For H-1B sponsorship, the cap-subject process runs annually with a filing window in April and an October 1 start date, so plan at least six months ahead. F-1 OPT authorization typically takes two to three months from application to USCIS approval. EB-3 Green Card sponsorship, which requires PERM labor certification through the DOL, can take two years or more from initiation to visa availability.
