INTRODUCTION
SentiLink provides innovative identity and risk solutions, empowering institutions and individuals to transact with confidence. We’re building the future of identity verification in the United States replacing a clunky, ineffective, and expensive status quo with solutions that are 10x faster, smarter, and more accurate. We’ve seen tremendous traction and are growing extremely quickly. Our real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, starting with financial services and rapidly expanding into new markets. SentiLink is backed by world-class investors including Craft Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, NYCA, and Max Levchin. We’ve earned recognition from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50. We have also been named a 2026 FICO Industry Vanguard Decision Award Winner. Last but not least, we’ve even made history - we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives on the future of identity. SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to build and scale learning at SentiLink. This is a foundational role. You’ll define our learning strategy, mature existing programs, and build new ones that help employees, managers, and leaders grow throughout their careers. You’ll own learning across the employee lifecycle - from onboarding and fraud education through to manager development, leadership capability, performance enablement, and knowledge sharing. Some programs already exist; many don’t. You’ll be expected to identify where learning can have the biggest impact, design practical solutions, and deliver them. This role reports to the Head of People and partners closely with leaders across the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own SentiLink’s learning and development strategy, identifying capability gaps and prioritizing learning initiatives that have measurable business impact.
- Design, build, and continuously improve learning programs across the employee lifecycle, including company onboarding, department onboarding, fraud education, manager development, leadership development, and ongoing professional growth.
- Partner with leaders across the business to understand capability needs and develop practical learning solutions that improve individual and organizational performance.
- Design and facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences for employees, managers, and leaders across the company.
- Improve how employees access and share knowledge by helping build scalable learning resources, documentation, and self-service tools.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and use data and feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
- Act as the primary owner for learning and development at SentiLink, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on execution.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6-10 years of experience in Consulting (leading learning, change management, or organizational effectiveness workstreams), Learning & Development, Talent Development, or similar.
- Experience building and scaling learning programs rather than simply delivering existing content.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
- Strong program management skills and the ability to independently drive multiple initiatives from idea through execution.
- Experience designing practical, engaging learning experiences for adult learners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where you’ll be building many programs from the ground up.
- Curious, collaborative, pragmatic, and highly execution-oriented.
PREFERRED
- Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Experience supporting technical organizations.
COMPENSATION
$155,000-$200,000/year + equity + benefits
PERKS
- Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
- 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)
- Flexible paid time off
- Regular company-wide in-person events
- Home office stipend, and more!
CORPORATE VALUES
- Follow Through
- Deep Understanding
- Whatever It Takes
- Do Something Smart

Frame your credentials around fraud risk strategy
SentiLink's strategy work is tightly scoped to identity fraud and financial crime. Translate your background into that language before you apply. A portfolio showing market analysis, product positioning, or go-to-market work in fintech or risk technology reads far stronger than general strategy experience.
Target roles that fit TN or OPT timing
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your STEM extension eligibility before your initial 12 months expire. Strategy roles at tech companies like SentiLink often qualify under STEM OPT if your underlying degree is in a qualifying field. File the extension early through your DSO to avoid gaps.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
SentiLink sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 green card pathways for select roles. When you receive an offer, ask whether the sponsorship offer includes immigrant visa support or only nonimmigrant status. The answer affects your long-term planning significantly.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Strategy Lead roles
SentiLink posts Strategy Lead openings at varying seniority levels. Use Migrate Mate to browse current listings filtered by visa sponsorship type, so you can match your status and timeline to roles that are actively hiring and have confirmed sponsorship history.
Understand how PERM timing affects EB-3 strategy
If SentiLink extends an EB-3 offer, PERM labor certification with DOL can take 12 to 18 months before USCIS sees your petition. Factor that timeline into any transition plan, especially if you're switching from an OPT or TN status with a fixed end date.
Prepare a dual-intent argument for EB-2 NIW candidates
If you're pursuing an EB-2 National Interest Waiver independently, document how your strategy work in fraud prevention or fintech serves a broader national economic interest. USCIS evaluates whether your contribution has substantial merit beyond the employer's commercial benefit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SentiLink sponsor H-1B visas for Strategy Leads?
SentiLink's documented sponsorship history for Strategy Lead roles includes EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visa classifications rather than H-1B visa. That doesn't mean H-1B sponsorship is unavailable, but you should ask directly during the recruiting process. If you're currently on H-1B with another employer, a transfer is possible, but SentiLink would need to file a new petition with USCIS.
How do I apply for Strategy Lead jobs at SentiLink?
Applications go through SentiLink's careers page. You can also browse current Strategy Lead openings with confirmed visa sponsorship history on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa type so you can identify roles that match your immigration status. Before applying, align your resume to SentiLink's focus areas: identity verification, fraud prevention, and fintech go-to-market strategy.
Which visa types are commonly used for Strategy Lead roles at SentiLink?
SentiLink has sponsored Strategy Leads through EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa pathways and has supported F-1 OPT and TN classifications for nonimmigrant workers. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. EB-2 and EB-3 both require PERM labor certification filed with DOL before USCIS adjudicates the immigrant petition.
What qualifications does SentiLink expect for Strategy Lead roles?
SentiLink's Strategy Lead positions typically require experience in product strategy, market analysis, or business development within fintech, risk technology, or identity verification. Familiarity with fraud prevention economics or credit risk landscapes is a differentiator. Most roles expect candidates who can work cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams rather than operating in a purely advisory capacity.
How long does the sponsorship process take for a Strategy Lead position at SentiLink?
Timeline depends on the visa path. F-1 OPT authorization is tied to your existing status and DSO filings. TN classification for Canadians can often be obtained at the port of entry on the same day. EB-2 and EB-3 green card paths involve PERM with DOL, typically 12 to 18 months, followed by USCIS petition processing. Priority date backlogs affect Indian and Chinese nationals significantly for employment-based categories.
