We’re building the future of identity verification in the United States replacing a clunky, ineffective, and expensive status quo with solutions that are 10x faster, smarter, and more accurate. We’ve seen tremendous traction and are growing extremely quickly. Our real-time APIs have helped verify hundreds of millions of identities, starting with financial services and rapidly expanding into new markets. SentiLink is backed by world-class investors including Craft Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, NYCA, and Max Levchin. We’ve earned recognition from TechCrunch, CNBC, Bloomberg, Forbes, Business Insider, PYMNTS, American Banker, LendIt, and have been named to the Forbes Fintech 50. We have also been named a 2026 FICO Industry Vanguard Decision Award Winner. Last but not least, we’ve even made history - we were the first company to go live with the eCBSV and testified before the United States House of Representatives on the future of identity. SentiLink supports a variety of ways to work, ranging from fully remote to in-office. We operate as a digital-first company with strong collaboration across the U.S. and India. We maintain physical offices in Austin, San Francisco, New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Chicago in the U.S., and in Gurugram (Delhi) and Bengaluru in India. If you’re located near one of these offices, we would love for you to spend time in the office regularly. Some roles are hybrid or in-office by design. For example, our engineering team in India works primarily from our Gurugram office.
ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to build and scale learning at SentiLink. This is a foundational role. You’ll define our learning strategy, mature existing programs, and build new ones that help employees, managers, and leaders grow throughout their careers. You’ll own learning across the employee lifecycle - from onboarding and fraud education through to manager development, leadership capability, performance enablement, and knowledge sharing. Some programs already exist; many don’t. You’ll be expected to identify where learning can have the biggest impact, design practical solutions, and deliver them. This role reports to the Head of People and partners closely with leaders across the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own SentiLink’s learning and development strategy, identifying capability gaps and prioritizing learning initiatives that have measurable business impact.
- Design, build, and continuously improve learning programs across the employee lifecycle, including company onboarding, department onboarding, fraud education, manager development, leadership development, and ongoing professional growth.
- Partner with leaders across the business to understand capability needs and develop practical learning solutions that improve individual and organizational performance.
- Design and facilitate engaging workshops, training sessions, and learning experiences for employees, managers, and leaders across the company.
- Improve how employees access and share knowledge by helping build scalable learning resources, documentation, and self-service tools.
- Measure the effectiveness of learning programs and use data and feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
- Act as the primary owner for learning and development at SentiLink, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on execution.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6-10 years of experience in Consulting (leading learning, change management, or organizational effectiveness workstreams), Learning & Development, Talent Development, or similar.
- Experience building and scaling learning programs rather than simply delivering existing content.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
- Strong program management skills and the ability to independently drive multiple initiatives from idea through execution.
- Experience designing practical, engaging learning experiences for adult learners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where you’ll be building many programs from the ground up.
- Curious, collaborative, pragmatic, and highly execution-oriented.
PREFERRED
- Experience in a startup or high-growth technology company.
- Experience supporting technical organizations.
COMPENSATION
$155,000-$200,000/year + equity + benefits
PERKS
- Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
- 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)
- Flexible paid time off
- Regular company-wide in-person events
- Home office stipend, and more!
CORPORATE VALUES
- Follow Through
- Deep Understanding
- Whatever It Takes

Frame your credentials around fraud-tech partnerships
SentiLink operates in identity verification and fraud prevention, so position your resume around experience with financial technology partners, API-driven product sales, or data-as-a-service deals. Generic business development framing won't cut through in a specialized fintech hiring process.
Confirm your visa type fits the role
SentiLink has sponsored EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for this function. If you're on OPT, confirm your graduation date gives you enough runway to get through a full interview cycle before USCIS OPT authorization expires.
Target SentiLink's enterprise-facing BD openings
SentiLink hires across multiple Strategic Business Development roles simultaneously. Focus your applications on positions aligned with their bank and credit union partnerships rather than general listings, since those roles tend to require domain expertise that translates directly into a specialty occupation framing.
Raise sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
Don't wait until offer stage to surface your visa needs. SentiLink has an established sponsorship track record for this function, so asking about their process during the initial screening normalizes the conversation and avoids late-stage delays caused by internal legal review.
Use Migrate Mate to track open roles efficiently
Strategic Business Development openings at SentiLink can move quickly. Use Migrate Mate to filter and monitor SentiLink's sponsorship-eligible listings so you're applying to the right roles at the right time without manually sifting through job boards.
Understand the PERM timeline if you're targeting permanency
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires the employer to complete PERM labor certification through DOL before filing with USCIS. That process alone can take 12 to 18 months, so align your long-term immigration planning to that timeline when negotiating your offer terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does SentiLink sponsor H-1B visas for Strategic Business Developments?
SentiLink's documented sponsorship for Strategic Business Development roles covers EB-2, EB-3, F-1 OPT, and TN visas rather than H-1B visa. That said, sponsorship decisions are role-specific and employer-driven. If H-1B is your visa type, it's worth raising the question directly with SentiLink's recruiting team during the process, since sponsorship offerings can evolve as the company grows.
Which visa types are commonly used for Strategic Business Development roles at SentiLink?
SentiLink has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories as well as F-1 OPT and TN nonimmigrant status for this function. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals under the USMCA agreement and covers business development roles that qualify as a specialty occupation. F-1 OPT candidates typically need to secure a cap-subject H-1B sponsor before their OPT period ends to maintain long-term work authorization.
What qualifications or experience does SentiLink expect for Strategic Business Development roles?
SentiLink looks for candidates with experience in fintech, identity verification, or fraud prevention partnerships. A background in enterprise sales cycles, API product commercialization, or financial institution relationships is relevant. For immigration purposes, a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, finance, or information technology supports a specialty occupation determination, which is required for most employment-based visa categories.
How do I apply for Strategic Business Development jobs at SentiLink?
You can find SentiLink's open Strategic Business Development roles through Migrate Mate, which filters for sponsorship-eligible positions and lets you track openings at SentiLink specifically. Apply directly through SentiLink's careers page with a resume that highlights fintech partnership experience. Be ready to confirm your visa status during the initial recruiter screen, since SentiLink evaluates sponsorship fit as part of early-stage conversations.
How do I plan my timeline when pursuing sponsorship through SentiLink?
The timeline depends on your visa category. F-1 OPT authorization from USCIS runs for 12 months, with a 24-month STEM extension if you qualify. TN status can be obtained at the border or via USCIS and is renewable in three-year increments. EB-2 and EB-3 permanent resident pathways require DOL PERM labor certification before the USCIS petition, adding 12 to 18 months to the overall process. Factor these windows into your offer negotiation.
