Frame experience around unit economics
Sweetgreen evaluates operations candidates on their ability to improve restaurant-level margins and throughput. Quantify how your past work reduced waste, improved labor scheduling, or cut cost per transaction before you apply.
Target roles tied to expansion initiatives
Sweetgreen regularly opens Business Operations positions during new market launches. Roles connected to real estate analysis, new store onboarding, or supply partner integration tend to have more headcount flexibility and are likelier to support Green Card sponsorship.
Distinguish EB-2 and EB-3 eligibility early
Sweetgreen has filed under both EB-2 and EB-3 pathways for operations hires. If your role requires a bachelor's degree plus progressive experience, push for EB-2 classification during offer negotiation, since it typically clears the PERM labor certification process faster.
Build credentials in food tech or supply chain
Sweetgreen's operations function leans heavily on data and supply chain systems, not just restaurant management. Certifications in supply chain management or experience with inventory platforms strengthen your specialty occupation argument and differentiate you from candidates without a food and beverage background.
Clarify sponsorship scope before signing
Ask the recruiter specifically whether the offer covers PERM filing and immigrant visa sponsorship, not just an initial work visa. Some operations roles at growth-stage restaurant companies include work authorization support but stop short of a full Green Card commitment.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter Business Operations openings at food and beverage companies with confirmed Green Card sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces roles where employers have actually filed, so you spend time on opportunities with a real path to permanent residence.

Does Sweetgreen sponsor H-1B visas for Business Operations?
Sweetgreen's documented sponsorship activity for Business Operations roles has been through employment-based Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, rather than H-1B nonimmigrant filings. If you're already in H-1B status through another employer, Sweetgreen could potentially transfer your petition, but you should confirm their willingness to sponsor H-1B specifically during the offer stage.
How do I apply for Business Operations jobs at Sweetgreen?
Applications go through Sweetgreen's careers page, where Business Operations roles are listed under corporate or support center functions. Tailor your resume to highlight operational metrics, restaurant technology experience, and cross-functional project work. Before applying, verify that the specific role is flagged as open to visa sponsorship, since not every operations posting at Sweetgreen includes that support.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Operations roles at Sweetgreen?
Sweetgreen's sponsorship record for Business Operations points to employment-based immigrant visas in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, which require PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor before USCIS can approve the immigrant petition. These are permanent residency pathways, not temporary work visas, so they're most relevant for candidates looking to build a long-term career rather than secure short-term authorization.
What qualifications does Sweetgreen expect for sponsored Business Operations roles?
Sweetgreen's Business Operations function covers areas like restaurant support, supply chain, and strategic growth, so relevant experience typically includes data-driven operations work, vendor or partner management, or process improvement in a multi-unit or high-growth environment. A bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field is generally expected, and experience in food and beverage or consumer-facing industries strengthens your candidacy significantly.
How do I find and track Business Operations openings at Sweetgreen that include sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to browse Business Operations roles at Sweetgreen alongside verified sponsorship data, so you can see which postings align with the company's actual filing history. On the government side, once an employer initiates PERM, DOL's Foreign Labor Certification Data Center publishes disclosure data you can use to track the filing's progress through labor certification.
