Prepare for the H-1B cap timeline
If you need a new H-1B, USCIS accepts registrations in March for an October 1 start date. Discuss this timeline with TriNet's recruiting team at the offer stage so both sides can plan around the annual lottery and avoid gaps in authorization.

Yes, TriNet has sponsored H-1B visas for Business Development Consultants. The role qualifies as a specialty occupation when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, marketing, or human resources. You'll want to confirm the specific job description lists a degree requirement before assuming sponsorship is available for every posting.
Which visa types are commonly used for Business Development Consultant roles at TriNet?
The H-1B is the primary work visa used for Business Development Consultant roles at TriNet. If you're currently on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT, that status can bridge you through an H-1B transition. Candidates with L-1 visa status through a multinational employer may also be eligible depending on their work history, though H-1B sponsorship is the most direct path.
What qualifications and experience does TriNet expect for Business Development Consultant roles?
TriNet typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, combined with B2B sales experience.
