Get your ARRT credentials verified early
Trinity Health expects Radiologic Technologists to hold active ARRT certification before starting. If your credentials were earned abroad, begin the equivalency evaluation process well ahead of applications so delays don't stall your offer.
Target high-volume imaging departments strategically
Trinity Health's larger regional medical centers carry heavier imaging volume and tend to backfill roles more consistently. Prioritizing these facilities over smaller community sites improves your odds of landing in a unit that has sponsored before.
Understand how TN status fits your situation
Canadian and Mexican nationals with a radiologic technology degree may qualify for TN status under the Medical/Allied Professional category, which avoids the H-1B lottery entirely. Confirm your specific credential aligns with DOL's TN occupation list before pursuing this path.
Ask about state licensure support during offer negotiations
Many U.S. states require a separate radiologic technology license beyond ARRT. Clarify during the offer stage whether Trinity Health's HR team assists with state licensure applications, since delays there can push back your start date and your visa filing timeline.
Time your PERM or EB petition conversation carefully
If you're targeting a Green Card through EB-2 or EB-3, raise it after you've demonstrated performance in the role. Trinity Health's immigration process for permanent sponsorship typically requires the position to be formally defined under PERM's recruitment requirements before DOL filing can begin.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles filtered by sponsorship
Radiologic Technologist openings at Trinity Health are distributed across dozens of facilities and updated frequently. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for positions at Trinity Health that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're applying where sponsorship is already confirmed.

Find Radiologic Technologist at Trinity Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Trinity Health sponsor H-1B visas for Radiologic Technologists?
Yes, Trinity Health has sponsored H-1B visas for Radiologic Technologists. Because the role typically requires at minimum an associate degree in radiologic technology plus ARRT certification, it generally meets USCIS's specialty occupation threshold. Sponsorship decisions are made at the facility level, so it's worth confirming with the specific hiring location during the interview process.
How do I apply for Radiologic Technologist jobs at Trinity Health?
You can browse open Radiologic Technologist positions at Trinity Health through Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you're not wasting time on roles that won't support your authorization. Trinity Health posts openings across its regional medical centers, outpatient imaging centers, and specialty hospitals, so searching by location and modality helps narrow the field.
Which visa types does Trinity Health commonly use for Radiologic Technologists?
Trinity Health sponsors Radiologic Technologists through several pathways depending on your background. H-1B is the most common route for degree-holding candidates subject to the annual lottery. TN status is available to qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals. F-1 OPT and CPT can bridge recent graduates into the role. For longer-term pathways, EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is available for established employees.
What qualifications does Trinity Health expect from Radiologic Technologist candidates?
Trinity Health generally expects candidates to hold an accredited radiologic technology degree, active ARRT certification in radiography, and any applicable state license for the facility's location. Additional certifications in CT, MRI, or fluoroscopy strengthen your application significantly, particularly for roles in larger imaging departments. Experience in a hospital-based or high-volume outpatient setting is a common differentiator in competitive markets.
How do I understand the visa filing timeline for a Radiologic Technologist role at Trinity Health?
If you're on F-1 OPT, your employer needs to initiate the H-1B petition well before your OPT expiration, ideally with cap-gap protection in mind. USCIS opens H-1B registration each March for an October 1 start date. For TN or J-1 candidates, timelines are shorter and less lottery-dependent. For PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, plan for a multi-year process that typically begins after you're established in the role.
