Adjunct Clinical Instructors are responsible for teaching and evaluating students in the clinical environment. - Provide timely, well-constructed feedback for direct patient care and clinical assignments.
- Guide students in various clinical care areas, including hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
- Collaborate with department faculty to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, communication, and problem-solving among students.
- Collaborate with nursing faculty to prepare for clinical, lab, and simulation instruction.
- Create a clinical learning environment conducive to effective learning within resource limits.
- Enforce appropriate policies and expectations for students in compliance with KUMC policies.
- Utilize technology tools effectively, including learning management systems, e-mail, and office software.
- Evaluate student progress using established methods.
- Maintain accurate records as required by administrative guidelines and legal standards.
- Attend all required orientations.
- Attend all clinical and lab classes.

Education:
