ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do (AKA: Be a Breathing Hero)
🫁 Patient Care
- Deliver direct cardiopulmonary care across all age groups — from tiny neonates to wise geriatrics
- Educate patients on disease management so they feel confident and empowered
- Administer medications (including IVs) safely and accurately using the Five Rights
- Document and communicate clinical findings clearly and efficiently
🤝 Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with physicians to ensure top-tier care
- Take ownership of parts of quality control programs
- Be the go-to expert in your specialty area
⚙️ Equipment Guru
- Coordinate specialty equipment and supplies
- Troubleshoot and service malfunctioning equipment
- Develop respiratory instrument trays and manage inventory
- Keep everything stocked, sterile, and ready to go
