Corporate Development Manager Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate development manager in New Hampshire?
Corporate development manager roles in New Hampshire do not require a state-issued license or registration. Most employers expect a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or business administration, followed by several years in investment banking, private equity, or a corporate strategy function. New Hampshire's largest employers in healthcare and advanced manufacturing typically promote from within their finance or strategy teams, making internal mobility a common path. An MBA or CFA designation strengthens candidacy for senior roles at firms based in Manchester and Nashua.
Which companies hire corporate development managers in New Hampshire?
Companies currently hiring corporate development managers in New Hampshire include BAE Systems USA, LIBERTY, and Moveras, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's corporate development hiring is particularly active among healthcare systems, defense contractors, and financial services firms with regional headquarters in the Manchester and Nashua corridors.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most corporate development manager jobs?
Manchester, Merrimack, and New Hampshire have the most corporate development manager openings in New Hampshire. Manchester drives the largest share given its concentration of financial services firms, regional corporate headquarters, and private equity-backed companies, while Nashua and Concord attract openings from healthcare systems, defense-sector employers, and state-adjacent organizations that maintain active M&A and partnership pipelines.
Are there remote corporate development manager jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. Corporate development work is largely analytical and deal-driven, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 57% of corporate development manager openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how widely distributed the role has become since deal teams shifted to distributed models. The parts of the role most commonly done remotely are financial modeling, market research, and early-stage deal screening, while due diligence and integration work often requires some on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a corporate development manager in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through a financial analyst or business analyst role inside a New Hampshire company that has an active acquisitions or partnerships program, such as a regional healthcare system or a mid-size defense contractor in the Nashua area. From that position, candidates can move laterally into corporate development by owning parts of the deal process. Building a financial modeling portfolio and pursuing the CFA designation gives candidates a clear edge when applying for junior corporate development or strategy associate roles that larger New Hampshire employers post before promoting internally.
Where can I find and apply to corporate development manager jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to corporate development manager jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current New Hampshire openings as employers post them. Search the available roles, identify the ones that match your background and target industry, and apply directly to the positions that fit.
