Corporate Development Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a corporate development manager in Pennsylvania?
Pennsylvania does not require a state-issued license to work as a corporate development manager. The standard path begins with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business, followed by several years in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate finance at a Pennsylvania employer. An MBA or CFA credential accelerates advancement into manager-level roles. Most Pennsylvania employers promote from within their financial planning and analysis or strategy teams.
Which companies hire corporate development managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring corporate development managers in Pennsylvania right now include PNC Financial Services, Duolingo, and SupplyOne, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of large health systems, regional banks, and insurance carriers means corporate development teams here tend to focus on sector-specific acquisitions and joint ventures rather than purely generalist deal work.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most corporate development manager jobs?
Pittsburgh, Enola, and Radnor have the most corporate development manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia drives the largest share through its dense cluster of Fortune 500 headquarters, health systems, and financial services firms, while Pittsburgh's strength in healthcare, technology, and energy attracts deal-focused roles tied to UPMC, PNC, and industrial conglomerates anchored in the region.
Are there remote corporate development manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, and more than most fields. Corporate development work is largely analytical and relationship-driven, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 67% of corporate development manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting broader flexibility in finance and strategy functions. Deal execution and due diligence phases typically require in-person availability, while strategy and integration planning are the most consistently remote-compatible parts of the role.
How can I get hired as a corporate development manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a financial planning and analysis, investment banking analyst, or corporate strategy associate role at a Pennsylvania employer. Large Pennsylvania health systems such as UPMC and Jefferson Health, as well as regional banks and insurance carriers, run rotational finance programs that place early-career candidates across M&A-adjacent functions. Building a portfolio of financial models and earning a CFA or enrolling in an MBA program gives candidates a measurable edge when applying to these structured programs.
Where can I find and apply to corporate development manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to corporate development manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current Pennsylvania openings across industries and experience levels. Find roles that fit your background and apply directly through each listing.
