Credit Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a credit manager in Florida?
Becoming a credit manager in Florida typically starts with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business, followed by experience in credit analysis or accounts receivable roles. Florida does not require a state-issued license for credit managers, but earning the Credit Business Associate or Certified Credit Professional designation through the National Association of Credit Management strengthens your candidacy. Many Florida employers prioritize candidates who combine formal education with hands-on credit underwriting or collections experience.
Which companies hire credit managers in Florida?
Employers hiring credit managers in Florida right now include Rent-A-Center, Valley Bank, and Regions Bank, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's large retail, healthcare, and financial services employers generate particularly consistent demand for credit professionals who can manage both consumer and commercial accounts.
Which Florida cities have the most credit manager jobs?
Tampa, Miami, and Pensacola have the most credit manager openings in Florida. Miami leads because of its concentration of international banks, trade finance firms, and large retail headquarterss, while Tampa and Orlando attract demand from regional financial institutions, healthcare systems, and distribution companies that rely heavily on credit and collections teams.
Are there remote credit manager jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than many finance roles. About 25% of credit manager openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how much of the work centers on financial analysis, reporting, and policy oversight rather than in-person transactions. Credit policy review, portfolio monitoring, and team supervision are the functions most commonly performed fully remotely.
How can I get hired as a credit manager in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a credit analyst or accounts receivable associate role first, then advancing internally. Large Florida employers like Publix, AdventHealth, and regional community banks regularly hire entry-level credit associates and train them on proprietary systems and credit policy. Completing the Credit Business Associate certification through NACM and gaining experience in billing, collections, or financial reporting gives candidates without management experience a concrete edge in the Florida market.
Where can I find and apply to credit manager jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to credit manager jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from Florida employers across the state's major metro areas and industries. Find roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the ones that match.
