Customer Success Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a customer success in Minnesota?
Most customer success roles in Minnesota do not require a state-issued license, so the path typically starts with a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field followed by experience in a client-facing role. Minnesota employers in SaaS, financial technology, and healthcare IT consistently hire candidates who move from sales development, account coordination, or technical support into customer success. Earning a recognized certification such as the SuccessHACKER or Gainsight certification strengthens a candidacy considerably.
Which companies hire customer successs in Minnesota?
Employers hiring customer successs in Minnesota right now include Nextern, Edmentum, and Marco Technologies, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Minnesota's concentration of enterprise software, health technology, and financial services firms means customer success hiring here tends to favor candidates with complex B2B account experience.
Which Minnesota cities have the most customer success jobs?
Minneapolis, Saint Cloud, and Minnesota have the most customer success openings in Minnesota. Minneapolis anchors the market because it hosts the headquarters and large regional offices of the state's biggest SaaS, fintech, and insurance employers, while Saint Paul and Bloomington add volume through corporate campuses and healthcare technology companies with substantial client-facing teams.
Are there remote customer success jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 75% of customer success openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how thoroughly digital customer success work has become for software and technology companies. The roles most consistently offered remotely are those focused on digital onboarding, renewal management, and scaled customer programs rather than high-touch enterprise accounts requiring on-site visits.
How can I get hired as a customer success in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into customer success from a sales development representative or technical support role at a Minnesota SaaS or health technology company. Large employers like UnitedHealth Group and Wolters Kluwer run associate programs and structured onboarding tracks that bring in candidates without direct customer success titles. Building familiarity with a CRM platform and earning an entry-level customer success certification gives Minnesota applicants a concrete edge when competing for associate or coordinator openings.
