In Data, we are responsible for delivering this data, news, and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. We apply problem-solving skills to identify workflow efficiencies and implement technology solutions to enhance our systems, products, and processes.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Management Professional (Senior DMP) within OTC Fixed Income (FI) Pricing, you will define and implement data-driven strategies to acquire new content sets and maximize the value of our existing datasets, ensuring they are high quality, commercially impactful, and aligned with evolving client needs. Using your deep knowledge of FI markets, you will design and manage initiatives that expand and enhance our product offering, identify gaps, and address emerging use cases. This role will have a strong focus on corporates and sovereigns.
We’ll Trust You To:
- Set and prioritize data-driven strategies and targets to discover and acquire new datasets and track progress in achieving these goals;
- Build relationships with key internal partners and decision-makers, to understand and align closely with their priorities;
- Ensure existing datasets are fit-for-purpose, accessible and usable in order to increase the return on our investment in onboarding the content;
- Lead and implement Data Quality projects based on evolving business prioritization and commercial landscapes;
- Proactively manage the budget and cost associated with 3rd party content that falls within our domain, and ensure we are optimizing those commercial arrangements to drive the greatest value for Bloomberg and for our customers;
- Lead campaigns across OTC Pricing to mobilize the wider team of Relationship Managers and Technical Account Managers;
- Identify and close gaps in existing product offerings and expand to account for emerging client use cases;
- Act as an ambassador for the FI content that drives our product, and as a representative for the Content Acquisition team throughout the company.
YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, STEM or degree-equivalent qualifications.
- 4+ years of experience in financial markets and deep understanding of fixed income markets including market structure, the latest market trends and the competitive landscape;
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across complex functions, geographies, and seniority levels;
- Proven ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes and actionable goals for regional teams;
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-regional execution, alignment, and strategic communication;
- Strategic approach with a bias for action, comfortable making decisions with imperfect information in fast-moving markets;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Data Product Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a data product manager in New York?
Data product management has no state-issued license in New York, so the path runs through education and experience rather than a credentialing board. Most New York employers expect a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, followed by roles in data analysis, business intelligence, or software product management that build adjacent skills. Certifications from product management organizations can strengthen a profile, but New York hiring teams weigh demonstrated product work and a portfolio of shipped data features most heavily.
Which companies hire data product managers in New York?
Employers hiring data product managers in New York right now include Bloomberg, Amazon, and EY, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. New York's concentration of financial institutions, large media companies, and enterprise technology firms makes it one of the deepest markets nationally for data product roles at every seniority level.
Which New York cities have the most data product manager jobs?
New York, New York City, and Albany hold the most data product manager openings in New York. Manhattan drives the volume through its density of financial services firms, advertising technology companies, and media organizations, while Brooklyn's growing tech sector and Westchester's corporate campuses account for a meaningful share of postings outside the core city.
Are there remote data product manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 40% of data product manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how thoroughly this role centers on digital collaboration, roadmap tools, and asynchronous communication with engineering and analytics teams. The portions of the role most likely to stay fully remote are roadmap planning, stakeholder alignment, and data discovery work.
How can I get hired as a data product manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an adjacent role already inside a data team, such as data analyst, business intelligence analyst, or technical program coordinator, then moving laterally into product ownership of a specific data domain. Large New York employers including financial institutions and healthcare technology firms run associate product manager programs that welcome candidates transitioning from analytical backgrounds. Building a portfolio that shows you have defined a data problem, scoped a solution, and measured outcomes gives a concrete edge over candidates who rely on credentials alone.
Where can I find and apply to data product manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to data product manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current New York openings updated regularly. Search the listings to see roles that match your experience and location preferences, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
