- Curious and self-directed, with a track record of learning quickly and succeeding in unfamiliar or ambiguous areas

The typical path begins with a bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, followed by several years in product management roles of increasing scope. Colorado employers tend to favor candidates who have progressed from associate or product manager roles within software, SaaS, or technology-driven industries, and many value an MBA or a certified product manager credential as a differentiator.
How much do Director, product managements make in Colorado?
Director, product managements in Colorado earn a median of about $182,730 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $121,560 for the lowest 10% to over $289,870 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.

Companies currently hiring director, product managements in Colorado include Housecall Pro, AMD, and Ibotta, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Colorado's concentration of enterprise software firms, aerospace contractors, and healthtech companies means demand is broad across both publicly traded corporations and well-funded growth-stage technology companies headquartered in the Denver metro and Boulder areas.
Which Colorado cities have the most director, product management jobs?
Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado account for the largest share of director, product management openings in Colorado. Denver leads because it is home to the region's largest concentration of technology, fintech, and enterprise software employers, while Boulder's startup and SaaS ecosystem drives strong product leadership demand, and Colorado Springs contributes through its aerospace and defense technology sector anchored by major contractors.
