About VIATechnik:
VIATechnik is on a mission to lead the built environment in creating a better future, today. We are one team of over 500 digital experts around the globe. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed architects, engineers, tradespersons, researchers, and business leaders. Together, we empower clients through high-quality, high-velocity experiences that consistently improve outcomes across the design, construction, and operations of buildings and infrastructure. Our clients include Amazon, Mars Wrigley, and National Geographic, the firms shaping the world's most ambitious projects.
Are you a strategic Account Executive who thrives on growing strategic engagements? You will focus on helping Owners unlock data from their buildings to drive business outcomes.
This role owns the full lifecycle of account and opportunity management: from insight-driven discovery and opportunity creation through negotiation, closing, and long-term expansion. Reporting into the VP of our Owner Vertical, you'll collaborate closely with operational and marketing teams - yet remain directly responsible for sourcing and closing your own strategic wins. Success requires operating as a trusted advisor to clients and a collaborative teammate internally, aligning sales strategy with delivery realities to protect quality, velocity, and client outcomes. The role balances new logo acquisition with deep account growth, representing VIATechnik as a credible, visible, and value-driven partner in the industry. You are responsible for growing this account until it graduates to Key Accounts.
What's in it for you:
-
Purpose: This role puts you at the center of VIATechnik's growth engine, shaping how enterprise clients adopt and scale digital transformation, BIM, VDC, and digital solutions that materially improve how complex projects are delivered. Your work directly influences client success, company growth, and the evolution of our industry.
-
Growth: You'll operate with meaningful autonomy and executive visibility while managing high-impact accounts and opportunities. The role offers exposure across sales, delivery, and strategy, with the opportunity to deepen enterprise selling expertise, expand leadership influence, and help evolve VIATechnik's sales model over time.
-
Motivators: This role is ideal for a seller who thrives on complex, consultative deals, values strong internal partnerships, and is motivated by measurable outcomes - not just bookings. You'll succeed by working as part of a unified team, leading with insight, and consistently delivering high-quality, high-velocity client experiences.
What You'll Achieve in Your First 12 Months:
-
Close initial contracted revenue by individually generating and closing opportunities through full sales lifecycle - from discovery through tailored solution recommendations, negotiation, and contracting. This role focuses on both opening new accounts and expanding existing accounts.
-
Hunt smart and act on market signals to win high-impact deals.
-
Expand existing Owner accounts, serving as the account and opportunity manager and demonstrating year-over-year growth across the portfolio.
-
Be a Trusted Face of VIATechnik in the Owner Segment: Represent VIATechnik at key industry forums and conferences, attending and/or presenting at a minimum of six major events annually.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proven enterprise Account Executive who thrives on landing complex, high-value deals and opening new strategic logos. You should have a track record of selling into owner-occupiers and know how to navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups. You're energized by new business development, fluent in insight-led selling, and comfortable using AI and market signals to target the right deals at the right time. If you're ready to take full ownership of accounts and be the face of VIATechnik at major industry events, we want to hear from you.
Apply if you have:
-
10+ years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a sales role; background in Customer Success or Operations is considered.
-
A proven track record of hunting and closing complex enterprise deals.
-
Experience selling digital transformation, engineering, or technology services to owner-occupiers, developers, or real estate portfolio managers.
-
The ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups, influencing Director- and VP-level decision-makers.
-
A strong grasp of insight-led sales methodologies, and comfort using tools like Salesforce, Altify, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
-
Demonstrated success in building strategic relationships that expand into long-term partnerships.
-
A data-driven approach to pipeline management, prioritization, and performance improvement.
-
Experience leveraging AI or automation tools to enhance prospecting, solution design, or outreach effectiveness.
-
A passion for being a strategic "door opener" who thrives on winning new logos and growing market presence.
-
The ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure win-win outcomes.
-
Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment, where autonomy and accountability go hand in hand.

Senior Level Enterprise Account Director Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a senior level enterprise account director job?
Employers at this level look for demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and a history of exceeding quota on seven- or eight-figure accounts. What gives candidates an edge is the ability to lead internal teams, influence executive buyers, and navigate long sales cycles with strategic rigor. A portfolio of expanded account relationships and documented revenue impact carries more weight than titles alone.
Which companies hire senior level enterprise account directors?
Companies hiring senior level enterprise account directors right now include Salesforce, Databricks, and Neo4j, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Hiring at this level tends to concentrate among enterprise software vendors, technology platforms, and large professional services firms with established named-account programs.
Are there remote senior level enterprise account director jobs?
Yes, though remote access at this level is more selective than at earlier career stages. About 57% of senior level enterprise account director openings are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with most fully remote roles tied to accounts spread across multiple regions where consistent office presence is not practical.
What makes an enterprise account director role senior level?
Senior level enterprise account director roles are defined by portfolio complexity, strategic ownership, and internal leadership. Rather than executing a defined playbook, senior professionals shape account strategy, manage executive relationships independently, and often mentor or coordinate junior account managers. The expectation is that you can run a large book of business with minimal oversight and consistently grow revenue within existing accounts.
Which industries hire the most senior level enterprise account directors?
Senior Level enterprise account director roles concentrate in Technology & Software, Artificial Intelligence, and Banking & Financial Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. These sectors tend to drive hiring at this level because their enterprise sales cycles are long, contract values are high, and retaining and expanding key accounts requires experienced professionals who can operate at the C-suite level.
