Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair - Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and ensure consistent operation.

Upgrades and Modifications - Evaluate existing equipment for potential upgrades or modifications to improve performance, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Installation: Oversee the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper set-up and adherence to safety regulations.

Calibration - Ensure that all equipment is accurately calibrated to maintain precision in manufacturing processes.

Documentation - Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance activities, repairs, and upgrades for reference and analysis.

Training - Provide training to operators and other personnel on the correct usage, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols related to equipment.

Problem Solving - Quickly diagnose and address equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Compliance - Ensure that all equipment meets regulatory and safety standards, taking corrective actions if compliance issues arise.

Collaboration - Work closely with various departments, including production, quality control, and safety, to facilitate seamless operations and address interdisciplinary challenges.

Continuous Improvement - Actively seek opportunities for process improvement, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, OR a related field.
