Executive Assistant Jobs in Orlando: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an executive assistant job in Orlando?
Target Orlando's largest hiring sectors first: hospitality and resort management, healthcare systems, and commercial real estate firms concentrated downtown and along Sand Lake Road. Candidates who stand out locally combine calendar and travel management experience with familiarity with large, multi-site organizations. Tailoring your resume to the fast-paced environment of Orlando's convention and tourism-driven corporate offices gives you a concrete edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire executive assistants in Orlando?
Orlando executive assistant roles are posted by Jobot, Thales, and OpsArmy and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Orlando's hiring mix skews toward large hospitality groups, regional health systems, and the professional services firms that support the city's convention and tourism economy.
Are there remote executive assistant jobs in Orlando?
Yes, though executive assistant roles are less remote-friendly than purely desk-based positions since many require on-site support for executives. About 33% of executive assistant openings tied to Orlando are remote or hybrid as of September 2026. Tasks like calendar management, correspondence, and document preparation are most commonly handled remotely within Orlando's tech and professional services firms.
How can I get an executive assistant job in Orlando with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Orlando is through administrative coordinator or receptionist roles at the city's large hospitality groups or healthcare systems, which regularly hire entry-level support staff and promote from within. Valencia College and UCF also connect graduates to local employers seeking junior administrative talent. Building proficiency in scheduling software and expense reporting tools common in Orlando's corporate market strengthens an entry-level application considerably.
